you shadow After the movie, as the guys were leaving, a downpour began. Shadow slightly slumped, glancing at the amusement park sign.

-So, we're not going anywhere after all? -

he mumbled, looking at Vanilla "Have the plans fallen through?"

Vanilla thought for a moment and quickly figured it out Apparently yes, but...do you want to stay overnight at my place?

He really didn't want to upset Shadow, he understood perfectly that Shadow wanted to spend time with him. Therefore, he decided that an overnight stay was the best idea, besides, it would be their first overnight stay.

-My parents are away... well, I don't think I even need to ask permission. So I'm all for it.

Shadov blurted out, grabbing the guy's arm

"You're soaking wet! You need to dry off!" — Vanilla pointed to Shadow's wet hair, then to the hairdryer lying on the nightstand. Shadow frowned; he clearly didn't want anyone touching his hair.

"No, I'm fine as I am." — He pushed Vanilla's hand away "And I didn't ask you." — Vanilla said, grabbing a hairdryer, plugging it in, and wrapping his arms around Shadow to prevent him from escaping. Then he burst into loud laughter, seeing the irritation on Shadow's face. But as soon as the soft hands touched his hair, he immediately calmed down and leaned slightly closer to Vanilla.

"I think you're falling asleep." Vanilla turned off the hairdryer and put it aside, then stroked her dry hair. Shadow remained strangely silent.

Vanilla hadn't even noticed that Shadow was now lying on his lap with his head resting there. He turned and realized that Shadow had been sleeping for a while, occasionally twitching at the sounds from the window.

The boy sighed softly and carefully repositioned Shadow on the pillow, making him more comfortable. He quietly approached the window, drew the curtains, and then lay down beside him, gently embracing Shadow.

To be honest, Vanilla hadn't given much thought to what Shadow meant to him. He also didn't know his own sexual orientation.
