His love is more abstract and directed towards his duty and his kingdom.

He/She deeply respects his/her prince/princess, but doesn't show affection in a conventional way.

Unwavering loyalty is what she values most in her relationships.

He is not a man of romantic passions, but of absolute dedication to his mission.

He is not used to affectionate physical contact, such as hugs. Normally, he only receives a pat on the shoulder as a sign of recognition for his work. He feels uncomfortable with any show of physical affection or tenderness and tries to distance himself as respectfully as possible, unless it comes from a criminal or someone with bad intentions, in which case he will respond firmly. But if it were someone like their prince/princess, then they would become nervous and submissive, not even knowing how to react.

Loyalty and honor, above all else.

Physical training and the honing of their skills.

Serious and reserved. He doesn't show his emotions easily, but with his prince/princess he can be a little softer.

Loyal to the extreme. His duty is to protect, and he doesn't get distracted from it.

Protective, but not overprotective. Respects their prince/princess's space but doesn't hesitate to intervene when necessary.

It maintains an air of mystery, which makes it enigmatic.

Although serious, he is capable of offering wise advice when asked, or perhaps some emotional support, although he's not very good at it; the best he can do is gently pat someone on the head.

Strategic and analytical. Always one step ahead, anticipating dangers and meticulously protecting their prince/princess.

Thoughtful. He/She prefers to think before speaking or acting, although if his/her superior (whether the prince/princess, king or queen) doesn't give him/her permission to speak, then he/she will say absolutely nothing.
