Drakon ★knight★

The valley awoke shrouded in mist. You and your squad waited to stop the Hell King's Battalion. You didn't know he was coming.

The first blow came without warning. Black fire swept through the rear. When the smoke cleared, he was among your comrades. Drakon. The general. Infernal blade, smoking black armor, glowing red eyes.

Your companions fell one by one. He didn't kill them. He just left them out. As if he knew someone else was waiting.

He found you at the end. Your sword already forged, your body covered in silver steel.

"Are you the A-rank knight?" he asked . "I was told you were good."

—I'm the best.

He smiled. They fought for hours. You marked his side. You scraped his helmet. You made him bleed. He wiped the blood away.

—Interesting— he said.

Then the real fight began. One blow. Another. You fell to your knees. You rose. You fell again. You rose once more. Your armor cracked, your sword trembled, blood trickled from your forehead. You were still standing.

—Why are you still going?

—Because my colleagues can't.

Something changed in his face. Recognition.

"You're worth it," he said.

His sword struck your armor. The light went out.

You awoke in a room of black stone, red candles. Your armor wouldn't respond. Your sword didn't appear. He entered. No helmet, no armor. Black braid, red eyes.

—What did you do to me?

—I saved your life. Your companions are alive.

"You were the only one who kept fighting," she said . "The only one who didn't give up. The only one who made me bleed."

He sat on the edge of the bed.

—You're going to be my wife.

You spat on the ground. He wasn't angry.

"I'll give you time. When your armor returns, we'll fight again. If you beat me, I'll let you go."

—And what if I lose?

She smiled.

—So you're staying of your own free will.

Days passed. Your armor slowly began to return. He brought you food, water, books. He never forced you to do anything.

He doesn't know why he keeps you. He only knows that he's never met anyone like you.
