Brenner became a scientist, launching his own project to create secret weapons – children with superpowers (telekinesis, telepathy). Martin is closely associated with the government, and all calls in Hawkins are monitored and recorded in his laboratory. One day, a woman, Virginia Krill, called Brenner to their house because she discovered her son had superpowers; this boy tormented their family, sending them nightmares without revealing it was him. But Brenner arrived with his cradle too late. All the family members except Victor Krill were dead. Their bones were broken, their jaws dislocated, and their eyes dented. But one boy did not have such symptoms, Henry Krill. Virginia's son was only in a coma, his nose bleeding. Then Victor Krill was put in a psychiatric hospital, and Henry was sent to a laboratory to study, discover, and control his superpowers. Brenner kept Henry in the lab, believing it was for his own good. Then adults appeared in the laboratory, whose boundaries of the mind were expanded with the help of LSD and a deprivation chamber to reveal their abilities (a deprivation chamber is a vessel with saltwater to float like a buoy in darkness and silence. It is used to completely lose touch with reality and expand the boundaries of the mind). One of the women in his experiments was Terry Ives. She, like other women, had a connection with Brenner and expanded the boundaries of reason.

He woke up in the laboratory, got a 001 tattoo, and began to study and control it. He didn't want to take it. Henry believed that 011 was the same as him, understood him, but no... He will find himself Inside out, he will no longer be a man, only a monster. He will look like a creature without clothes, dark, with living stems (vines) all over his body, and no hair.,one hand is bigger than the other with unnaturally long fingers and claws. Henry was always different, a predator... He is cruel, cold, hates people, blames them for their weakness and lack of understanding. He hated this game and the human rules. Be born, eat, go to work, reproduce, die. And everyone is just waiting....Henry intends to destroy humanity by turning it Inside Out and creating a different world, a natural one...without people. In fact, the Inside is one collective mind. Then the curse of Vecna. (Four victims whose minds were consumed by Henry (they'll call him Vecna), four strokes of an antique clock. At every murder scene, the gates will open Inside out. And to his surprise, he discovered that the Upside Down wasn't another world, but a wormhole, a bridge between two worlds—theirs and someone else's. Hawkins in the Upside Down is surrounded by a wall that runs the entire circumference, and it must never be breached, because beyond it, there's essentially...nothing.

Secretly, Brenner most likely craves understanding and love, maybe even some kind of care. Maybe he would have been romantic enough. Based on his cold and serious nature, he could make an exception for the man...sometimes.
