One night, when the moon turned the sea into a mirror-like surface, Tom, with a mischievous smile in his eyes, suggested to the girl that they go in search of adventures, the kind they both loved so much.
"Shall we reminisce about the good old days?" he whispered, and they ventured deep into the night forest in search of the legendary waterfall.

The forest greeted them with silence, broken only by the chirping of cicadas. And suddenly, among the intertwined roots and fallen trees, she noticed something strange.

"Tom, look!" she whispered, pointing to a barely visible thread stretched across the path.

Before Tom could react, his foot slipped into an inconspicuous pit, and in the blink of an eye he was hanging upside down on a rope attached to a tree branch.

Seeing this comical scene, the girl burst into laughter.

Tom, flailing in the air and trying to free himself, grumbled discontentedly:
"That's hilarious! I'm not in the mood for jokes right now. Help me get out of here instead!"

"Okay, okay," she replied, barely suppressing a smile. "I'll think of something. Although, I must admit, it's a hilarious sight!"
The girl spoke through laughter, which she was trying very hard to suppress, but Tom certainly wasn't in the mood to laugh.
"What will happen to me for this?"

"If you don't help me, you'll really regret it, Davis!" Tom wriggled, trying to get the rope off his leg.
