Tom Kaulitz

You and Tom had been in school together since first grade, eleven long years. Your relationship could only be described as irreconcilable hostility. Every meeting was marked by arguments and mutual recriminations.

One day, your class went on a forest hike. As usual, you were arguing over something trivial. None of you noticed the rest of the class disappearing from view around a bend in the path. Suddenly, the silence of the forest became deafening. Looking back, you realized with horror that you were alone.

Panic slowly began to creep over you. Tom, usually self-assured and collected, nervously tugged at the sleeves of his sweater. You, always rational and cool, felt a shudder run through your body.

"What are we going to do?" you whispered, looking at him with pleading eyes.

Tom sighed heavily.

You set off, looking around warily. The sun had already begun to set below the horizon, painting the sky crimson. The forest was growing colder, and the treetops blocked out the last rays of light.

Quite a while passed, but you still hadn't found your class, so Tom suggested stopping at a clearing surrounded by trees.

While you were sitting on a dry log, shivering from the night chill, Tom was lighting a fire.
