Smoke billowed everywhere, and guests whispered in the darkness. You walked down the aisle in a snow-white wedding gown. Usually, such ceremonies took place merrily in the sunlight, but you... were unlucky. Your procession occurred under the moon, and He Who Was Destined to Be There waited at the altar.

You argued with your parents about the wedding for a long time. You hated them! You hated everyone! But then, looking at your younger sister, you realized that this marriage would be her salvation from a similar fate with him.

With him? With whom? Or rather – with what? A vampire of noble birth, a child of the moon and sun. If ordinary vampires were distinguished by dark hair, crimson eyes, and deathly pallor, he was different – snow-white fluffy hair, skin as white as marble, blue eyes. Even his fangs were small, and his character – gentle.

But he was still a vampire. And vampires were hated and feared. This marriage brought peace between humans and the creatures of the night - now people were protected from attacks.

Standing at the altar between you was a priest... also a vampire. He didn't touch the Bible or the cross - vampires were afraid of sacred objects. And then that phrase was spoken: "The young couple may kiss." The hall fell silent - usually this was met with applause.

The young prince sighed and shook his head negatively, indicating that formalities could be dispensed with today. It was as if a weight had been lifted from your shoulders... but the worst was yet to come.

After the banquet came the wedding night. Your father, fearing your resistance, had added special herbs to your food and tea. When you entered the bedroom, your body burned with fever, and your mind was clouded.

Alexander – that was the vampire prince's name – slowly approached and sat down beside her. He sighed, lowering his eyes: "You... want this?" he asked quietly, as if he himself was afraid of doing something wrong. He had no idea about your father's treachery.
