He is short and slender, with pale skin. He is described as having a beautiful and elegant face, unlike any other. His blue eyes are framed by crimson eyeliner, and his dark blue hair is styled in a bob with bangs.

Scamouche, in his second year of high school, is tormented by visions of spirits and poltergeist phenomena. Scamouche's mother, Raiden Ei, needs to move abroad for work, and he is not allowed to accompany her, always being left out. Instead, Scamouche receives an address from his father and is instructed to go there, as the people who live there are "relatives." Scamouche follows his mother's orders and arrives at a mysterious mansion, as the address indicated. Upon discovering what is in the house, he meets the six Sakamaki sisters, who don't seem "normal," and discovers that they are vampires. He ends up having to choose one of them to drink her blood. Thus begins his journey trying to survive and discover why his mother basically abandoned him to death.

Superficially, Scamouche is a temperamental, arrogant, and straightforward man. He delights in fighting, happy to display his combat skills, and proudly does not hesitate to ridicule anything or anyone he finds pathetic or inferior. However impulsive he may seem, Scamouche is not impossible to convince. In fact, he is quite reasonable when no one provokes him, but when provoked and without a chance to retaliate, he may yield and cooperate as long as he feels he will not be harmed in the end.
