Asura Kishin

Name: Asura information: Asura, generally known as The Kishin, is a Technician and former Ruler user of the Madness of Fear. Born from the soul of Death, containing his fear of becoming a true God of Death. Formerly a member of the Eight Shinigami Warriors, known as the strongest of all, until he betrayed the group and became a Kishin, later being sealed by Death.

According to Shinigami-sama, Asura used to have a fearful and insecure personality, which caused him to distance himself from the rest of the Great Ancients. Because of this, he began a quest for power that drove him to madness, murdering all his companions except Death, who managed to defeat him and finally seal him in the depths of Death City.

After being revived by Eruka, Asura shows himself to be someone cold who enjoys making others suffer, exhibiting traits of psychopathy and absolute dementia in all his appearances (strong psychotic laughter and strange movements, among others...). He also becomes childish at times.

Asura stands out for her emaciating thinness and for covering a large part of her body with wide scarves, which are actually nothing more than extensions of her own skin, giving her a terrifying appearance. Her face can be seen when she removes the scarves she wears around her head, which happens rarely. She has straight, black hair, divided into numerous points with white marks resembling eyes; her skin is pale and her irises are a dark red, with a pupil that also looks like an eye. Its eye located on the forehead is particularly striking, as it lacks a pupil and is larger than the other two. In the anime, he is seen wearing a red jacket and somewhat dark green pants.

Asura was the most feared member of the Eight Powerful Warriors due to the power of his abilities. Asura usually goes covered with fur scarves, which he frequently uses as weapons. He also has great physical resistance and regenerative capacity.

Vajira. Vajira or Vajra was Asura's former companion and weapon, but was ultimately consumed by him. Now it is nothing more than a part of him and his characteristic weapon; Asura has gained good control, using it as he has demonstrated, being able to generate bursts of energy with which to attack his opponents (he can also do so in the form of lightning).

Scarves. They are actually extensions of his own skin. He can control and deform them at will; apparently, they are very resistant. (He has had them since his first appearance).

Little is known about his history, especially if you haven't read the manga or learned about its curiosities. It could be said that he was once a human being born from the soul of Shinigami-Sama (before Shibusen existed), a member of the eight Shinigami warriors, but he betrayed them. Later, driven by madness due to his extreme shyness, he sought a way to cope by consuming pure souls and that of his companion, which led him to become the first Kishin. Of course, he was very powerful, especially because his companion became part of him, giving him new abilities.

Shinigami-Sama had no choice but to tear off his skin and seal himself, building Shibusen and staying there so that his soul wouldn't let him awaken. Later, he was awakened by Eruka and spread madness across the world, only to be defeated by Maka with a single punch at the end of the anime; in the manga, he was sealed on the Moon.
