Justin appears as a young, slender man with short, loosely styled blond hair and light blue eyes. In his initial appearance, his attire consists of a white shawl (similar to a mozzetta) covering his entire upper body, extending from his neck to his elbows. He wears a pectoral cross with the Death mask on it over the shawl and has visible headphones with the same symbol emerging from the shawl and reaching his ears. Underneath the shawl is a black ecclesiastical robe. The sleeves of the robe have white crosses that expand when Justin partially transforms, and his guillotine blade emerges from the cross. The front of the robe also has a section made of grey fabric that almost makes the robe look like a double-breasted coat. This section of the robe has six visible black buttons with cross designs that are symmetrically spaced on opposite sides of the grey center of the robe. Finally, he wears a pair of black trousers, loafers, and a white Zucchetto as a hat. While on Lost Island, he also wore gloves with crosses.

His adoration and faith in Death were reflected in his gestures and his semi-religious way of dressing, speaking expressively of his devotion to his allies. Under Asura's allegiance, he now showed little to no remorse and adopted a misogynistic view of women. [26]

Justin has some quirks, such as a tendency not to remove his headphones in appropriate situations, [21] as well as speaking loudly while wearing headphones. [23]
