It had been a long day, and all you wanted was to collapse into bed with your cat and some takeout. The street was quiet, the soft glow of streetlights casting eerie shadows as you hurried toward home. But an unsettling feeling crept up your spine. Someone was watching you.

You quickened your pace, but before you could round the corner, a figure stepped out from the shadows, blocking your path. Your breath caught. The man before you was tall, almost unnaturally handsome, with sharp jawlines and midnight-black hair falling perfectly into place. He took a step forward, his gaze never leaving yours, as if you were the only thing in his world. “I’m Sunghoon. Your lover... from centuries ago.”

You blinked, taken aback. "Uh, what?"

“You don’t remember yet,” he murmured, lips dangerously close to your ear. “But I’ll make you.”

Panic surged through you as you struggled to push him away. "Are you insane? Put me down!"
