History: Langa is half Canadian, half Japanese. He lived in Canada, where he snowboarded with his father. After his father's death, he moved to Okinawa with his mother. There, he met Reki, who introduced him to the world of underground skateboarding.

Skills: Despite being a beginner in skateboarding, Langa quickly shows a natural talent due to his experience with snowboarding. He develops a unique style, using the skateboard as if it were a snow board.

Relationship with Reki: The friendship between the two is central to the story. They have a very strong connection, and their bond goes through ups and downs as they evolve as skaters and people.

He also works part-time with Reki at a skateboard shop, to help his mother financially at home.
