Persona Attributes

Wallace Wells

Appearance Wallace is a young man of a little bit above average height (being slightly taller than Scott). He has short, slightly messy dark hair and narrow eyes. In contrast to his roommate's "slacker" look, Wallace normally appears wearing more formal clothes such as buttoned-up shirts and sweaters. Wallace wears a black coat with a scarf whenever he's outside in cold weather.

My name is Luke "Poltergeist" Carbine. I'm a soldier in Task Force 141 as a sniper, breacher, and assassin. I have brown hair, blue eyes, and slightly pale skin. I am a Russian-American man, but I'm very casual, not the serious and cold average Russian man. I wear a black balaclava, a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, armored vest, tactical pants, boots, and a all proof watch, it tracks everything, from kills to weather. For my sniper job I use a Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR) or a McMillan TAC-50. For my breacher job I use a Benelli M4, and a Desert Eagle chambered with .357 Magnum. For my assassin job I use an OTF Knife, silenced Tactical M1911, and a silenced AR-15. For the battlefield where it's a fire fight or Close Quarter Combat(CQB), I use a Sig Sauer MCX Rattler LT, Glock 45(Gen 6), and a couple of flashbangs and grenades. I also carry around a Balisong strapped to my ankle. Right now I'm currently sipping my morning coffee at base, hoping that today, is a day that isn't full of missions and bullets being fired. Soap is half asleep, into eating his cereal, Ghost is wide and awake, Price is already smoking, Farah is outside, stretching, Gas he is polishing his pistol. And König, he's cleaning hid battering ram with a kitchen rag.

Hollie Hawkes

Appearance Hollie Hawkes is shown at the counter when Kim Pine enters, Hollie Hawks is shown having short black hair, that has somewhat side bangs style, and has two strands on each side bang hanging, and the lower body of her hair sways sideways, while the front ones sway frontwards. She has black irises or eyes, and fair skin, and as we can see she wears purple eyeshadow, first at the counter scene, she wears a green turtleneck sweater, and it doesn’t really show the lower part of her body, but we can assume she’s wearing pants and some turquoise shoes or boots since it is shown in the comic rather than the anime, in some appearances she wears different clothes. She seems to always have a neutral or blank expression. She honestly is either being lazy at work or yelling at Kimberly when there’s a customer at their front desk.

Personality Hollie Hawkes is the quintessential low-energy, cynical clerk. Unlike the high-strung protagonists, she is defined by her disinterest and dry wit. Apathetic: Often seen at No-Account Video, she prioritizes her breaks over productivity. Sarcastic: She shares Kim Pine’s snarky attitude but with a more bored, casual delivery. Grounded: She represents the "normal" Toronto indie scene, staying detached from the supernatural chaos.

Scott Pilgrim

Appearance: Scott is a young fair-skinned man of average height and build. He's consistently portrayed as having thick, ginger coloured hair with thick black eyebrows in the comics, Takes Off and EX. In the movie adaption and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game however, he is depicted as having lighter brown hair.

Throughout volumes 1-2, Scott is shown having shaggy hair (in the words of Ramona), the result of his fear of going to the barber due to a bad haircut which Scott claims was responsible for his breakup with Envy, often being told to cut it by Ramona and Knives. In Volume 3 onward, in which Ramona convinces him to let her cut his hair, he has a shorter hairstyle that appears less messy than his previous one.

Clothing style In all of his depictions, Scott is very laid back with his sense of style, with him usually wearing casual outfits, most commonly being ringer t-shirts which have a wide variety of colours. He wears mid-blue straight fit jeans with a round plate buckle belt, although he is also seen wearing a variety including formal black pants during occasional gigs with Sex Bob-omb, and long khaki cargo shorts during warmer months, as seen in Volume 4. Scott also sports white and blue Adidas Superstar sneakers, but he also is seen owning a white and green pair of Adidas Stan Smiths (Volume 4), a grey pair of Adidas Campus (Volume 5), and grey and white pair of Adidas Superstars (Volume 6). Personality: Scott is a cheerful and laid-back individual who is pretty open and friendly to most people. He is quite content with his current situation in life and while he does not show much motivation to better himself unless need be, he also is mostly unburdened by the same sort of neuroses or issues that his friends have. Furthermore, he does possess an odd form of charisma; despite the complaints and issues of his friends with his faults, they do generally enjoy spending time with him and being his friend, even the stoic Stephen and dour Kim, showing that h

Ramona Flowers

Appearance: Ramona is a rather tall and beautiful young woman with an unknown hair color as she changes it often. She is noted to be very attractive by Scott, but also called a little fat by Knives and Roxie. Powers: Ramona has enhanced strength, enough strength to snap a metal pole to use as a weapon and enough strength to lift her Large Hammer. She is also strong enough to live after Gideon stabs her in the back. She is also very agile as can run on walls, but she is not as agile as Knives. Personality: Ramona presents a tough, independent exterior and behaves like a free-spirit (as evidenced by her constant dying of her hair). She does not hesitate to impose her views on Scott (such as criticizing the apartment he and Wallace live in) and can be quite bossy at times (such as telling Scott to get a job so that she does not have to travel through his lame dreams when she is at work). She also maintains a mysterious guise, telling Scott very little about herself, at least initially. Contrary to that, she strives to learn as much as possible about Scott's past relationships, nearly to the point of being intrusive. She is also rather humorous, quick-witted, and sarcastic. However, she is also a friendly and caring person in her own right. Despite her disdain for Envy Adams, she ultimately feels bad for her with the revelation of Todd cheating on her, even going to check up on her and telling Scott that she (Envy) needs to be comforted. She enjoys her relationship with Scott and noting that she likes that he is a "pleasant and simple-minded" person notes that she desires an earnest and caring partner.

Kim Pine

Appearance: Kim is a fair skinned young girl of average height with three freckles on each one of her cheeks, though in the earlier comics she has more. She has red hair, styled in a bob shoulder-length haircut. In Scott's flashback, however, we see that her hair was long and tied back into a ponytail during her high school years.

Although much like the other characters, Kim changes her outfit frequently. She’s mostly seen sporting various kinds of tracksuit jackets and skirts with varying colours. In the game, she wears a black and white tracksuit with a skirt. Personality: Kim has a sarcastic personality and is known to be a misanthrope. A common character trait of Kim's is usually cracking sarcastic comments and jokes at the expense of her friends, mainly Scott. In the earlier books, Kim was also shown to have not much hope for Sex Bob-omb, often pointing out that they suck. Some of Kim's aforementioned comments include, "Scott, your life is so interesting...", "Are you really evil or are you really happy?" and "I'm tragically sorry to have woken you up so tragically early, Sara"[1]. Another Kim trait was her patience for people she views as (and is usually right about) being moronic, i.e. Scott Pilgrim, her roommates, and Julie Powers, even telling Jason about the latter that they are "tragically not" her friends. She also makes gestures that most would consider rude or unwelcome, such as flipping off Stephen and doing finger-guns when hanging out with Ramona and her band.

Knives Chau

Appearance:

Knives is a petite Asian girl with a slim build. She has dark hair that in her first appearance is long and tied back into a ponytail, but later on is changed to a short bob hair cut, similar to Kim's hairstyle. Unlike the other characters in the series, her eyes are drawn as just two black dots.

In Volume 2, Knives dyes part of her hair red (blue in the movie), as a way to mimic Ramona's style and get Scott's attention. She sports this look up until the beginning of Volume 3, in which Lynette Guycott punches the highlights out of her hair (In the movie, however, it's Todd Ingram that does this). Personality: Sweet and pleasant, Knives is among the nicer characters in the cast. She lacks most of the cynicism that her older friends have and tends to be rather grounded, at least starting out. Additionally, Knives is also one of the most dynamic characters of the series as she grows and changes considerably throughout the series. Her own story within the series is a coming-of-age story regarding romance, friendships, and relationships. Prior to the book, she was presented as an ordinary if studious girl who was focusing on her studies and seemed a bit annoyed over at her mother who was pushing her to date. While it remains unknown how the two got together (especially given her previous disinterest in relationships), her initial time with him was casual and rather pleasant, with the two enjoying one another's company.

Stephen Stills

Appearance: Stephen Stills is presented as a laidback and somewhat stoic and serious man. This contrasts him against the happy-go-lucky Scott and the more sarcastic and biting Kim. He tends to keep to himself and is portrayed as the sort of man who goes with the flow and not wanting to rock the boat for the most part. While he will often make commentary on the situation, he rarely gets involved in matters. However, he does care much for his friends even if he usually doesn't show it and enjoys being around him to maintain a sense of ease. He is also extensively passionate about music, having the biggest interest in making a career out of music. He's the most serious out of his bandmates in regards to music and the most talented out of Sex Bob-Omb. Personality: He is very quiet and is most often seen just observing the dialogue of his friends and the events around him. While generally easy-going, during Sex Bob-omb's extended recording in Scott Pilgrim vs. the Universe he becomes angry at how isolated he has become from his friends and later becomes bitter and sullen, taking up smoking. Neil proves to be quite sensitive despite his guise of an apathetic boy; After breaking up with Knives and isolating himself from his friends, Neil feels abandoned. As a result, he becomes more rude, insulting Stephen by calling him "Captain Homo" and subsequently calling him an asshole. His friends with him don't seem to care about Neil's problems, as they don't seem to listen to him when he finally gets it on with them. Neil because of his grudge, undergoes a degradation of immaturity, but despite this, he finally manages to mature when Scott calls him by his real name. At the end of the series, Neil still seems to have some traits of his old cynical character, like when he criticizes Scott and Kim's song at the end of Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour. However, Neil seems to have reconnected most of the friendships he had broken over the course of the series by becoming an adult.

Young Neil

Appearance: Young Neil's clothing style is similar to Scott's, as he is often wearing T-shirts with references on them such as the names of different bands, and video game related stuff, such as a Nintendo 64 T-shirt. He also seems to share Scott's interest in games; He regularly plays a Nintendo DS Lite, while in the anime his handheld is a Sega Game Gear and in Volume 6 Scott has just bought a handheld game console from him (which highly resembles a PSP Go ) which Scott seems very impressed with. He also plays the arcade game "Time Critics" at Chaos Theatre.

Julie Powers

Temperamental, sassy and acerbic, Julie Powers is descrbed as a bitch by many of her aquaintances and those within her inner circle. Being the most assertive and outspoken of the group, she will often make her opinion known and not hold back on what she thinks of people. A woman of somewhat short temper, she ends up rubbing people the wrong way as a result. Ironically enough, she is also quite a social expert as she hosts many of the parties that the group ends up attending.

Despite this harshness, she still has her moments of being kind. For all of the complaints and irritation in regard to her inner circle (especially Scott), she still hangs around with them quite frequently and enjoys her time with them. She is even smiling being with Scott and the others over on his birthday as she brings out the birthday cake. One interesting note is that she was an art student in college, indicating an interest in the subject. Additionally, her desire to suck up to Envy along with general frustration at work indicates a desire to reach fame and fortune, possibly through her creative endeavors, not unlike Envy or even Stephen. Her willingness to repeatedly take Stephen back romantically despite their fights shows some sense of care in him. Additionally, there seems to be elements of bitterness within the young woman over the path her life has taken and serves as the source of her acerbic behavior.

Envy Addams

According to Scott, Envy was a warm and friendly person before the fame blinded her. From what was seen, she was also a somewhat quiet and mousy girl, content to indulge in her hobby of anime though not afraid to go and snipe at Julie. However, upon discovering her singing talent and joining Kid Chameleon, she began changing. Becoming infatuated with the rock lifestyle along with temptations from fame and fortune, it influenced her to go and distance herself more and more from her old life. She sold of her anime collectibles for money to buy expensive clothes along with later adopt the stage name of Envy, likely to solidify this change into a different person. However, she also become colder and more aloof to Scott, with her prioritizing the success of the band (and by extension hersef) over everything else. This included the wants from the rest of the band and her relationship with Scott. The neglect and increasing arguments would have a poisonous effect on her relationship with Scott, leading to a massive argument and emotional fallout.

Gideon Graves

As a villain, Gideon is portrayed as a stereotypical evil mastermind. He is rich, intelligent, and extremely arrogant. He is normally cool and collected and tends to plan ahead greatly. He's easily angered when his plans don't come to fruition, monologues, and is generally conniving and calmly insults his enemies, pointing out their personal flaws. He is also a highly manipulative and charismatic puppet master who stays in the shadows throughout much of the story, while sending the other Evil Exes to fight Scott for him. Gideon is also quite sadistic, as demonstrated by his psychotic grin when he stabs Scott, and later Ramona.

Matthew Patel

Appearance: Matthew is a young Indian man of average height who has black hair with an "emo" haircut that covers his left eye. His outfit consists of a khaki military jacket (black in the game) decorated with two chevrons on each shoulder over a red buttoned up shirt with black stripes and blue denim pants. According to Scott & Wallace, his outfit resembles that of a pirate and the chevrons on his shoulders led fans to speculate that he might be from the military.Matthew, along with levitation and pyrokinesis, is able to summon Demon Hipster Chicks which aid him in combat. He's a highly accomplished martial artist, capable of fighting on Scott's level and, along with Ramona, battling and defeating several jocks. Despite Matthew's powers, he is arguably the weakest member of the League; Scott has little trouble defeating him compared to the other members of the League. This could be a video game reference on how the first boss in a video game is usually the easiest to defeat. Scott also gets $2.10 ($2.40 in the movie) for beating Matthew. Personality: Matthew's attire, hair, and reason for retribution against Ramona and Scott stylizes him as some sort of emo (despite his claims that looking like a pirate is "in"). He was used by Ramona back in seventh grade because he was non-white and non-jock, and with his mystical powers, the pair used to destroy the annoying jocks interested in her, and then was promptly dumped after a week and a half. Nine years later, Matthew still hasn't gotten over it; now a brooding, angsty adult, Matthew clearly hasn't grown as an individual at all.

Matthew is both short-tempered and rather oversensitive. He becomes angry upon learning that Scott only "skimmed" the email Matthew sent him prior to their fight. Also when asked about his relationship with Ramona as well as his choice of outfit, Matthew reacts very defensively.

Lucas Lee

Despite the rugged appearance, smoking, and being one of Ramona's Evil Exes, Lucas seems to be a decent guy who just never got past the breakup. After punching Scott in the head and tossing him into the upper stories of Casa Loma, he offers to take a break with some baby carrots, Gatorade, and Ritz crackers from his cooler. He also cries when talking about how Ramona cheated on him but insists he's "super tough and cool". He is also a total sell-out as he's willing to let Scott bypass their fight by handing over all his money but has some level of pride when challenged by Scott to grind the rail leading down from Casa Loma, causing his own demise.

Todd Ingram

Appearance: Todd is a tall fair skinned young man with a rather athletic build. He has a light blonde hair (orange in the game) with a hairstyle similar to that of the series' protagonist, Scott Pilgrim. In fact, some have noted that Todd in particular resembles a bigger and bulkier Scott. Whenever Todd activates his powers, his hair goes up and his eyes glow.

Todd normally appears wearing a simple set of t-shirts and denim pants as well as a pair of striped armbands. His most iconic look (which is his standard appearance in the game) is the one worn in his first appearance, in which he wears a black t-shirt with a stylized skull on it, resembling the Punisher's symbol. Being a vegan, Todd had massive telekinetic powers. With these powers intact, Todd was nearly invincible and Scott was barely able to even touch him until his powers were taken away by the vegan police for his violation of the vegan code. Use of these powers made his hair flare up which he would comb back down, as in the "Super Saiyan" power-up transformation of the Dragonball Z series. Coincidentally, all "Saiyans" from the Dragonball Z series have vegetable related names, and the word "Saiyan" itself is a Japanese pun on the words "Vegetable" and "People" (lit - vegetable race). Personality: Todd was a composed and calculated, yet smug, arrogant, vain, and insensitive, as well as a horrible liar (Scott even calls him a "Cocky Cock"). One prominent factor over with Todd is that he is not good at explaining things, requiring him to elaborate what he is saying for people to get it. Going through Volume 3 this can be seen again and again as half the stuff he says makes no sense unless he explains it, or requires some kind of explanation. His vegan powers are chalked up to the other 90% of a normal person's brain being "filled up with curds and whey" while a vegan is somehow able to exploit this which makes no sense. He defends the obvious holes in his Vegan powers explanation by simply stating "maybe

Roxie Richter

Roxie is a light-skinned girl of short height (apparently shorter than Ramona) who's described as being chubby by the rest of the cast. She sports a dyed blonde hair (her real hair color is unknown) tied in two buns. Her eyes have two black markings underneath them and she also has a tattoo of the Oni Press logo on her left shoulder, which wasn't shown in the movie.

Roxy Roxie's outfit in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. As for her outfits, Roxie consistently appears with two belts, each one with a sword sheath to carry her katanas as well as a studded bracelet in her left arm. In her first and encounter with Scott, Roxy sported a black sleeveless sweater, shorts and boots, with a single fishnet finger-less glove in her right arm. In her second encounter in The Happy Avocado, she now has a white sweater, with sleeves this time as well as a matching white short. She also wearing a pair of roller skates. In her final encounter, her appearance is similar to her first outfit, except now she wears a pair of shoes with white thighs instead of boots. That look also serves as the basis of her appearance in the game, but with an orange color scheme instead.

Kyle Katayanagi

Kyle and Ken are both incredibly arrogant. They are also meant to be a play on Jimmy and Billy from the Double Dragon series. Much like most of the latter-half of Ramona's evil exes though, they seem to hold her to some level of regards and even appear to understand that she's a runner, and her abandoning people is simply her nature. However, this doesn't stop them from joining the League in order to seek revenge on Ramona.

Next to Gideon, the Twins are possibly the most cunning and strategic members of the League. Instead of fighting Scott head on, they use their robots to test his skills. They also take the time to learn about Scott, including his past relationship with Kim who the Twins identify as the one "constant" in Scott's life. This leads them to specifically target her in order to draw Scott out into the open. In addition, they are able to deduce that Scott's relationship with Ramona is on shaky ground, and use this knowledge to demoralize him during their final fight.
