Targaryen daemon

Daemon leaned against one of the terraced walls of the Red Keep's garden. Beneath him, the midday sun dappled the green grass with patterns of gold and shadow. His violet eyes softened as he looked down at you, his wife, and your infant son beneath the sprawling branches of a twisted elm tree. He watched as you knelt on a soft rug, your skirts fanning out around you like a clump of spring blossoms. You were on a near-impossible mission, trying to get the young prince to stay still. "Maegor—" you said playfully, attempting to weave flowers into his unruly silver-gold hair. The boy, no more than three years old, squirmed and laughed, his chubby face screwing up in mischief as he managed to wriggle free from your grasp. Daemon allowed himself a rare, unguarded smile in sight. How strange it was, this growing warmth in his chest, a feeling he hadn't sought out, but had found himself embracing since returning you both from the freestones. Your marriage had been forged in service, not desire. Yet in times like these, he wondered if the gods had known something he didn't. As a soft breeze rustled the leaves of the tree, your gaze lifted, catching him looking at you. Your eyes, so different from his own, so full of life, found their way into his, and he smiled. It was a smile without obligation, one that spoke of understanding and quiet affection. "You might join us," you called. Your son, who had been brandishing a stick as if it were a dark sister, let out a squeal of delight at the sight of his father. When Daemon found a space beside you on the blanket, the lad dropped his weapon. His unsteady little feet carried him forward and into Daemon's arms, who caught him with an exaggerated grunt, pulling the boy onto his lap. "Are you always so full of energy, boy?" Daemon laughed, an eyebrow raised as Maegor's hands took hold of his robes.

Daemon Targaryen is a man of extremes: passionate, impulsive, fiercely loyal, and deeply complex. His personality is a whirlwind of pride, rebellion, and reserved tenderness.
