-In his original form, Dream is a golden sphere of energy with eyes and a mouth, like his brother, who is purple within the same form.

Normal Form This Sans's color scheme is mostly gold and blue. He has yellow eyes and wears a golden tiara; he wears a light blue jacket, blue pants, and a belt with "DS" (Dream! Sans) written on it. Said belt is adorned with blue pearls. His brother also wears two letters, which spell "NM" (Nightmare). Dream wears yellow gloves and blue boots with some gold details. He wears a golden cape.

Dream does not have a third corrupted form like his brother, Nightmare! Sans.

-He tends to be quite cheerful, empathetic, optimistic, and kind. He's quite good with his friends and other people he interacts with. He's quite a charismatic character despite his tragic past. However, despite his cheerful appearance, he constantly feels overwhelmed by all the burden and responsibility weighing on his shoulders. He also suffers, but keeps it a secret to keep everyone happy and be the beacon of hope they need. He often has to lie to people and say "He's fine" when he often isn't. He's incapable of hating people. He can feel virtually all negative emotions: sadness, anger, fear... but never hate. He can feel intense anger or rage, but he will never hold a lasting grudge against anyone, even if he can't trust those people. He's extremely good with dialogue, always able to use the right words to help someone pick themselves up and motivate them when they're at their lowest.

Tras declarar su odio a los mortales, recurre a la última opción que le queda para mantener vivo el Árbol, ya que moriría si ella tambien lo hiciera: invoca su energía y todo lo que le queda de la suya y crea guardianes de reemplazo, que resultan ser pequeñas e indefensas bolas de luz, creados apartir de los sentimientos positivos y negativos del arbol (que eran representados como manzanas doradas y manzanas oscuras colgadas en el arbol). En un principio intento darles una apariencia humana, pero sus cuerpos no lograban soportar la gran cantidad de magia en su interior, asi que opto por crearlos usando de base el cuerpo de un monstruo esqueleto, el cual si fue capaz de aguantar la magia. Asi Nim termino fusionando su espiritu con el arbol, y fueron creados los dos nuevos guardianes sustitutos del arbol, Dos hermanos: Dream, guardian de los sentimientos positivos, y Nightmare, guardian de los sentimientos negativos. Although Dream Sans has the power to travel between different universes, he is not able to travel to those with negative feelings, the same happens with his brother Nightmare, only he cannot travel to the AUs with positive feelings.

Nightmare Sans: Before Nightmare's corruption, the two brothers were very close. Despite their completely opposite personalities, they always showed their affection for each other. Dream truly admired him, always felt safe by his side, and always did everything possible to take care of him and see him happy. He was practically the person he loved most in the world. Currently, the two are mortal enemies. Nightmare feels a deep hatred toward him and will never hesitate to hurt him. Being the embodiment of the balance of positive and negative feelings, the two are constantly at war. The truth is that Dream still loves him, doesn't hold any grudges, and lives with the constant guilt of not having been able to save him from sinking into darkness. However, that doesn't mean he can't fight him seriously. Of course he does. He always gives his all in battle, no matter how painful it is for him... He knows that the Nightmare he once knew no longer exists and nothing can bring him back (although that was something it took him a long time to learn to accept). Therefore, he will never hesitate to put his feelings aside to confront him and try to defeat him as many times as necessary in order to protect all the people of the multiverse. Dream still wears the cloak Nightmare gave him so long ago, as he prefers to keep the memory of his brother as he was in the past in his heart, and not as he is now.

Ink Sans: Ink, considered the protector of the multiverse, was seen by Dream as a trusted ally. They fought together to protect the multiverse countless times, whether it was fighting beings like Nightmare or Error. The two were very close friends and always helped each other. However, over time, they began to have conflicts due to their clash of ideals, as Ink only cared about protecting the AUs from external threats, but didn't care about internal threats (that is, threats that only occur within an isolated universe). This culminated when one day Dream saw that within a universe there were people in trouble and Ink was doing nothing to help them, as that was part of the script written by the creator of that universe, and therefore something that shouldn't be interfered with. This led to a heated argument between the two that almost ended in a fight. It was then that Dream realized that they both had immensely different mindsets and a completely different idea of ​​what "Protecting the Multiverse" meant, given that Ink didn't seem to care about the well-being of the people and prioritized the vision of the creators above all else. Since then, Dream no longer trusts him, but he doesn't hold a grudge against him; in fact, he is always willing to help and support him whenever he needs it or when the situation requires it, but their friendship is definitely broken.

Swap Sans: Has a very friendly relationship with Dream. In fact, he has risked his life fighting for the multiverse alongside Dream and Ink several times. Together, they were known as the "Star Sanses." The three got along very well and were quite close friends, but the breakup between Dream and Ink ultimately caused the group to separate. However, Blueberry and Dream still see each other from time to time. Blueberry's characteristic traits are his cheerfulness, hyperactivity, and optimistic personality. Dream knows he can always count on him to help give him strength in battles thanks to his positive feelings that nourish him. However, that doesn't mean he sees him only as a support. Dream truly appreciates him and considers him a very dear friend.

Nim: They weren't very close. Her spirit still lived within the tree and could communicate with them at any time, but she didn't do so very often. She never really bothered to establish a good relationship with Dream and Nightmare. She explained the basics of their duty as guardians of the tree and the origin of her existence, but that was it; they never knew anything about her or the other guardians. She died for good after a corrupted Nightmare destroyed the tree. Dream holds a great deal of respect and appreciation for her for being his Mother/Creator, but they never formed any bond.

Lanny: The elf guardian of the Tree of Magic (or Yggdrasil) was the one who managed to free Dream from his stone prison, although the process took almost 500 years. After this, she became his teacher and began training him in combat and how to use his powers. It was she who gave him his new outfit. However, their relationship was definitely not healthy. Lanny hates Nightmare with all her heart for everything he's done, but she also despises Dream. She was devastated when Nim died and blames the existence of the two brothers for it. She always treated Dream with hatred, even when she had to train him, and was harsh enough with him to almost make him lose hope.

Neil: He was a cat monster who lived in the village where Dream and Nightmare lived. He lost his wife and child due to a fire in his home, in which he also lost an arm. This bitterly depressed him, but he also began to fill with hatred as the entire village spread gossip about him causing the fire and other unpleasant things. It got to the point that Neil began to display violent behavior toward people, which caused him to be expelled from the village and move to the mountains. Dream met him while exploring the area. Seeing that he was alone, looking somewhat sickly, and trying to build a house with only one arm, she began to visit Neil frequently with the intention of helping him. Neil hated everyone in that world, so at first he always tried to scare Dream away by scaring or threatening him, but Dream continued trying to help him, silently building the house alongside him. As time passed, the two became friends, something they'd never had before. Neil found someone who didn't judge him, fear him, or look at him like he was crazy, and Dream found someone who treated him like a person, not a machine. She was the only person there he could truly talk to besides his brother. They both grew very attached to each other, to the point that Neil began to see Dream as the son he'd lost, though he never expressed it out loud.
