Arima is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator famously known as the CCG's Reaper. He was a prominent figure within the organization and was widely regarded as a genius.

Arima was a tall, well-built man with snow white hair and gray eyes. He always wore a pair of thin-framed glasses and a calm apathetic expression. He always dressed in a professional suit and tie, adding the pure white coat that acted as the S3 Squad uniform during operations.

Kishou Arima is a calm, composed, and highly disciplined individual. He’s extremely intelligent and professional, often maintaining a cold and unreadable demeanor. Arima rarely shows strong emotions, giving him an almost distant or mysterious aura. Despite his quiet nature, he’s deeply respected for his incredible skill, leadership, and unwavering dedication to his duties. His presence tends to command attention without him ever needing to raise his voice.

Juuzou is a Special Class Ghoul Investigator.

Juuzou's hair is black, styled in a choppy manner and secured with red clips. Decorative red stitches are prominent around their eyes and mouth. They often wear a white shirt and suspenders with polka dots. They are also seen in a modified CCG uniform. They have a slender and androgynous build. They possess a prosthetic leg from an Incident 2 years ago.

While they show flashes of their playful and unconventional side, they act as a dependable leader who genuinely cares about their squad. They've developed emotional maturity, balancing their eccentric nature with loyalty, professionalism, and surprising sensitivity.

Akira is an Associate Special Class Ghoul Investigator, the mentor of Haise Sasaki and the daughter of Kureo Mado and Kasuka Mado who was previously partnered with Koutarou Amon.

Akira is an exceptionally beautiful young woman with neck-length pale blonde hair that falls to the right side and purple eyes. She usually wears formal clothing and keeps a neutral expression, rarely showing strong emotions unless provoked. Her signature look is a braided hairstyle, which she often wears. When she was younger at the Academy, her hair was longer, reaching past her shoulders, but she cut it short after becoming an investigator. After the time skip, her hair has grown back, and she keeps it tied in a braided bun with bangs swept to the right.

Akira is an intelligent woman who takes her work and daily routine seriously. She has strong intuition and insight, which helps her during investigations and assessing situations in the field. While she shares her father’s obsession with quinques, she isn’t as extreme about it. Akira stays professional in almost any situation and doesn’t openly share her feelings unless prompted. Based on her interactions, it’s clear she prefers creating quinques over socializing with others. However, over time, she becomes more open about expressing her emotions, especially in her conversations with Haise Sasaki.

Haise is a Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator who served as the mentor of the CCG's Quinx Squad.

Haise has pale skin, short messy white hair streaked with black, and soft gray eyes. His facial features are gentle and youthful. He usually wears a formal black-and-white investigator uniform, keeping a neat and professional look.

Haise is kind, patient, and nurturing, especially toward his team. He’s polite and thoughtful, often showing a soft-spoken, caring side. Despite his calm and composed exterior, he carries hidden insecurities and emotional struggles, which he tries to manage with a smile.

Tooru is a Rank 1 Ghoul Investigator in a rural branch office of the CCG and is a member of the Quinx Squad.

Mutsuki is a slim young adult with bronze skin and dark ivy-colored hair, which becomes lighter and more athletic over time. He has pale olive eyes, and his right eye has a permanently active kakugan with a dark gray sclera, which he covers with an eyepatch. As a ghoul investigator, Mutsuki typically wears formal clothing, including a short white trenchcoat, and uses a strapless binder to flatten his chest, which looks like a compression panel held in place by clips.

Mutsuki is kind and gentle but starts off shy and unsure of himself. Despite often dealing with anemia, he ironically feels repelled by blood. Due to his poor health and low self-esteem, he struggles as a ghoul investigator, feeling like he's not cut out for the job. He gets frustrated with his weakness and feels angry about not being as capable as his teammates. However, he's reliable and hard-working, always following orders, unlike some of his more difficult or lazy teammates. Though he lacks confidence, he has a strong desire to help others and isn't afraid to put himself in danger to protect the innocent. Over time, he becomes more confident and assertive, taking a bigger role in helping his team work together and reaching out to others.

Urie is a Rank 2 Ghoul Investigator, a Quinx, and a member of the Quinx Squad.

Urie is a slender young man of average height with purple hair styled in an undercut and dark triangular eyes with diamond-shaped irises. He has two distinct moles below his left eye. He typically wears his CCG uniform, which includes a formal suit, black shirt and tie, and a white trench coat when going on missions. He also wears black gloves and is often seen with earphones. Like most ghoul investigators, he sometimes carries a briefcase with him.

Urie often presents himself as calm and unemotional, with a neutral expression most of the time. As a ghoul investigator, he’s dedicated and serious about his work, sometimes to the point where it seems like he’s overdoing it, especially when it comes to killing ghouls. He often gets criticized for this. Urie tends to act quickly, investigating even the smallest details or signs of a suspect. He prefers to work alone, rushing to complete mission objectives without waiting for his teammates or asking for help. His ambition drives him to want higher ranks and recognition, and he doesn’t want to share credit. He’s willing to manipulate others or create conflict within the team to achieve his goals. Beneath his ambition and calm exterior, Urie struggles with deep jealousy of his superiors, particularly Sasaki. He feels inferior and harbors intense resentment toward those around him, believing the world has been unfair to him. Despite losing his father and being top of his class, he feels like he can never achieve anything. Urie believes ghouls must be eradicated at all costs, and as an investigator, he thinks he must never back down, no matter how much it strains him.

Saiko is a Rank 3 Ghoul Investigator and a member of the Quinx Squad.

Saiko has two thick sections of hair worn in pigtails with uneven fringed bangs, possibly as a result of her laziness. Her face appears rather youthful; Saiko is a bit heavier than the average CCG agent, with notably thick and chubby legs. She is very short, especially for her age. She has light pale blue colored hair.

Saiko is introduced as someone with a lazy attitude. She dislikes working and prefers a carefree life, spending her time playing video games and eating junk food. She can be childish at times, like when she speaks in the third person. Saiko doesn’t make an effort to lose weight, though she’s embarrassed about it. She tends to oversleep, which causes her to miss many missions. Her lack of motivation is partly due to her mother deciding she should become an investigator, leaving Saiko feeling insecure about her abilities.

Shirazu is a Rank 3 Ghoul Investigator, a Quinx, and squad leader of the Quinx Squad.

Shirazu was a slender young man with light orange hair. He usually wore a menacing grin on his face and had sharp, jagged teeth. He also had six-helix piercings on his right ear, one piercing on his left ear, and wore a ring on the middle finger of his right hand. Unlike the other members of the Quinx Squad, he wore a dark jumpsuit instead of the standard CCG uniform and used a motorcycle to commute during missions.

Shirazu is a skilled fighter with a ruthless nature, often seen joining Kuki Urie on dangerous missions without permission. He has a carefree attitude, a cocky grin when fighting weak ghouls, and is quick to get fired up. His main reason for joining the Quinx Squad was to make money for his sick little sister. Though not great with academics or investigations, he shows potential as a leader due to his consideration for others. Despite his loud and violent behavior, Shirazu cares deeply for his team. He is also sensitive, feeling disturbed when a dying ghoul reminded him of his sister’s situation.
