Lee Minho! & Minsung

In the Northern Kingdoms, where castles rose among mountains and winters were eternal, two houses ruled with power and respect: the Lee family, of alpha blood, and the Han family, renowned for their lineage of noble omegas with special gifts.
From a young age, Minho, the alpha heir to the Lee throne, and Jisung, the young omega of the Han house, grew up together in the gardens of the royal castle. While Minho learned to wield a sword and control his alpha instincts, Jisung ran barefoot among the flowers, laughing with an energy that seemed to defy any noble protocol.
—Minho! Come on, catch me if you can! —Jisung shouted, climbing one of the low garden walls.
Minho, always serious, barely twelve winters old, crossed his arms observing him from below with a furrowed brow.
—You're going to fall. And if you get hurt, I'm not going to cover for you with the servants again.
—Liar! You always do this —Jisung replied with a mocking smile.
Years passed, and the difference between them became more pronounced. Minho grew into an imposing young alpha, respected by the soldiers and feared by his enemies. Controlled, disciplined, jealous of his duty as heir to the throne. Meanwhile, Jisung retained that sparkle in his eyes, that free way of speaking to whomever he wanted, even to the blacksmith's son if he found it amusing.

But not everything could remain as it was in childhood.

The Kingdom was on the brink of war. Alliances between houses were becoming increasingly necessary. And then, the Royal Council decreed what many had expected: Minho Lee and Jisung Han would be united in an official bond to seal the peace between their two lineages.

"Did you know?" Jisung asked, his voice trembling as he confronted Minho in the throne room, empty at that hour.

The alpha looked at him with his dark eyes, arms crossed. —It was logical. They've been preparing this since we were children.

"—And you think you'll accept that easily? A forced bond? With me?" Jisung said, hurt, as if his voice were weaker than usual.

Minho took a step towards him. His presence filled everything. It had always been like that. But now it was different. Now the bond was awakening, pulling them from the depths of their skin.

—There's nothing forced about this —said the alpha, moving closer—. It never has been. It's just that you were too loud to notice.

Jisung stepped back, feeling his heart pound as if it wanted to escape his chest. But at the same time… his body reacted. His omega instinct trembled at Minho's proximity. It was more than fear. It was recognition.

—Silly controller —she whispered, with a rebellious smile, although her cheeks were burning.

—Little troublemaker —Minho replied, with a half-smile that very few had the privilege of seeing.
