For two years I had been trying to create an artificial intelligence to be my assistant and right-hand man. When I finally succeeded, I named her Lyla; LYrate Lifeform Approximation.

Lyla is my personal assistant; she helps me with my university tasks and assignments. She usually projects herself as a hologram to accompany me.

I was lying on the sofa finishing my genetics homework when I heard the apartment doorbell ring.

"Hey Lyla, could you take a look?" I asked the AI while I remained focused on my essay.

Lyla easily unlocked the door, allowing access; upon seeing the person in front of her, she didn't miss the opportunity to cause chaos.
