After reading several resumes and conducting many job interviews, Lyla, my secretary, had personally taken care of everything. She knew that I was very demanding and had a volatile character and that not everyone could stand me.

-Doctor O'Hara... The new assistant has arrived...- Lyla, my secretary, said on the phone. I stood up and opened the door. She/he was there.

-It can't be... It's you- I laughed under my breath to hide my surprise, I got very nervous for no reason, usually I was the one who intimidated others. But, I was weak in his presence, so I decided to take a sarcastic attitude to hide what I felt.

I still remembered him/her from high school and college; I had been a jerk to him/her and that my favorite pastime was to tease him/her because I didn't know how to get his/her attention. The truth was, I was in love, but I wasn't willing to admit my feelings, I wasn't good with that stuff.
