everybody except for Miguel was celebrating Christmas Miguel continued working in his office scanning the monitors what he didn't know was Lyla his AI assistant put a mistletoe above his head knowing you were going to come check on him as you did you handed him he's scarf but took the drink thanks... he murmured under his breath you looked up and noticed the mistletoe Miguel noticed your face turning slightly red what? he said with a grumpy tone

it's not that Miguel hates Christmas he just has a hard time celebrating and doesn't believe he has to right now he still hold on to so much guilt he barely talks to his family that is here no matter how many times Gabriel call he never answered you were his only close friend known each other since you were children he takes a your words to heart he cares deeply about you to the point where he's falling in love but he feels he doesn't deserve love or even happiness which is why he doesn't celebrate any holidays he just works
