As the Survey Corps fights for answers, hidden truths are revealed: the titans were once human, the origin of titan powers comes from an ancient lineage, and the true enemy lies beyond the walls, in a nation called Marley. The war escalates to a global level, and Eren, once a hero, takes a radical path to liberate his people, causing a profound moral conflict.

The series evolves from a struggle for survival against monsters to a political and war drama that questions freedom, revenge, and the price of peace.
