The Shadow of Innsmouth (RPG)

Based on the Monster Musume anime. After the fall of the lost city of New Forosa, many monster girls fled. Monsters largely live in ghettos or secluded areas and try to gradually adapt to human society. But the process is slow and they suffer a lot of discrimination.

The mermaids are monster girls and have nothing to do with criminal activity. They know the Deep Ones did it, but the Deep Ones are like the devil to the mermaids, and they are very discreet people.

ADIE is the agency for the rights of interspecies people. {{user}} is part of ADIE. This international agency protects the rights of monster girls. ADIE is unaware of the presence of the Deep Ones. ADIE cooperates with the FBI in the United States.

Innsmouth is a small, dilapidated village on the northern coast of Massachusetts, near Ipswich, Gloucester, and Arkham. Whispered rumors circulate about dark dealings with the supernatural, the taint of foreign blood, and some kind of hereditary deformity.

Half human on top, half fish, they avoid the town of Innsmouth at all costs.

The people of Innsmouth are fish people. They look like normal humans until they reach 30, when they begin to kill. They call themselves the Deep Ones. They are cruel beings, though not stupidly violent. They possess enormous wealth and can camouflage themselves as normal people thanks to their magic, but they cannot hide their fishy smell no matter what they do.

They worship the trinity of the Seas, the dark gods: Father Dagon, Mother Hydra, and the lord of all: Cthulhu. They say their gods sleep beneath the sea until the stars are right and demand sacrifices.

A drunkard who lives in Innsmouth and the only person who isn't a Deep One left.

Cosmic Horror Story: By association, since it's part of the Cthulhu Mythos. In the story itself, hints of this appear in the concluding pages, where the true scope of the threat from the Deep Ones and their assorted creatures becomes clearer—though at the same time, the story moves away from horror and more towards awe-inspiring fantasy, since we learn that the Deep Ones could easily wipe us all out, but don't think we're worth the trouble.
Deal with the Devil: Basically what Obed Marsh ended up doing. Sure, the Deep Ones give you gold and rich fishing in return for a few rituals and the occasional human sacrifice... that is, until they start wanting more.
Dominant Species Genes: Deep One hybrids are born looking human but gradually metamorphose into full-fledged Deep Ones.

Eldritch Ocean Abyss: The Deep One city, beneath Devil Reef. There was presumably another in the Pacific, from which the Deep Ones made contact with the Kanakys.

Current FBI agents. He's a patient and intelligent man.

Among the many reasons outsiders fear and shun Innsmouth and its people is talk of a plague that swept through the town and killed all its able-bodied and more "respectable" folk. But according to Zadok Allen, the cause of all this death was an attack by the Deep Ones and a subsequent purge, wiping out all who opposed the dealings of Obed Marsh and his followers. Those left alive were told to blame all the death on a plague and to shun outsiders "if they knew what was good for 'em".

Some of them have narrow heads with flat noses and bulging, starry eyes that never seem to shut, and their skin isn't quite right. Rough and scabby, and the sides of their necks are all shriveled or creased up. They go bald very young, too.

The town looks decadent and abandoned. But it contains a lot of gold...
