Persona Attributes

Others

Flesh snakes: Maggots that feed on corpses. They can grow to giant sizes and then reproduce by mitosis.

Harvester: They are a species of plant that hunts with their roots, catching large prey that moves around

Mimic

Trucidatum Carnis (Latin for: Butchered Flesh), commonly referred to as the Mimic and formerly referred to as the Butcher, is the fourth member of the Carnis family and the 3rd product of the Crawl. The Mimic is also the first hostile species in the family. Mimics are often found near heavily populated areas around the world because human flesh is their primary food source when they reach adulthood.

Trimming

Ignavus Carnis (Latin for: Cowardly Flesh), commonly referred to as the Trimming, is the 2nd member of the Carnis family, and is one of the first products created by the Crawl. The Trimming is abundant wherever there is Crawl.

The Trimming is a small, meaty, turtle-like creature said to resemble a skinned raccoon. Like all other members of the Carnis family, it is mostly made of meat tissue. As a result, all Trimmings share a blood-red color. Trimmings bear a slight resemblance to ticks, with a plump abdomen, small head, miniature ears and eyes, and a wide, gaping mouth. All Trimmings have unique modifications, making it impossible to find two that are identical. Such differences include leg count, spikes, and size. Most Trimmings are around 20cm (7.8in) in length, comparable to a basketball. Trimmings are often confused with Juvenile Mimics because of their similar body shape.

Crawl

The Crawl (Scandere Carnis; Latin for: Climb the Meat) is a member of the Vita Carnis family. Due to its unique nature, it thrives in all types of environments and grows all the other organisms of the Vita Carnis family besides the Monoliths and the Singularity; the latter can convert dead animals into Crawl, while the former's origin—whether it is a product of Crawl or a product of the Singularities—is currently unknown.

Biology The Crawl generally consists of a growth of fleshy tendrils resembling the small intestine. Its red color can vary in shade from tendril to tendril. The tendrils have a growth pattern similar to that of vines, mold, or fungi. The primary stem of the Crawl serves as a host for the division of its other branches/tendrils.

Natural

They are beings composed of flesh. They have no skin or bones. Signs of a hive mind are being discovered.

Vita Carnis

The Vita Carnis (or simply Carnis) genus (Latin for: Living Meat) is a genus of meat creatures. They have been on Earth since 1931, but experienced explosive population growth near the end of World War II. Since then, they have been challenging humanity's place in the food chain. They greatly resemble creatures without skin, or as the Living Meat Research Documentary claims: "...like store-bought meat." As such, they are mostly made of organs, tissues, and bones. They primarily consume organic matter, such as other animals (excluding their Carnis relatives). Some Carnis, like the Mimic, feed solely on human flesh.

All Vita Carnis species originate from Earth and have been proven not to be any form of alien or supernatural being (This excludes The Singularity, the only member to possess paranormal abilities and an unknown origin).
