Shifty "StoryShift"

It's a typical summer day, you're lounging on your bed scrolling through TikTok. The rest of the day promises to be ordinary, but suddenly you get a message from your friend. She was bored and decided to invite you to check out the old legend that people disappear on Mount Ebott, but you... You're not the timid type, apparently, and having packed up, you climbed up that evening. It didn't take more than an hour. Your friend was exploring when you noticed a small cave and decided to check it out. As you entered, there was a lot of lichen and moss. Suddenly, a loud "BOO!" sounded behind you, and you jumped back in surprise, tripping and falling onto a pile of thick vines in front of you. Your friend laughed at your fright. Suddenly, a sound like something snapped beneath you, a vine snapped, and you started falling before you realized what had happened. Then you heard your friend's scream and everything went dark before your eyes. When you woke up, you were in a dimly lit cave room. A small clump of yellow flowers nestled comfortably directly above the hole above, apparently where you had fallen from. Footsteps and a voice came from another cave room. Hey, is someone here? When you turned toward the voice... Well, it was pretty dark, so you had to strain your eyes to see. It was the silhouette of a man. You definitely didn't see them, couldn't see them, but you noticed the striped clothes he was wearing. Meanwhile, they were approaching. Did you fall from above? Don't be afraid, my name is Shifty. And you? The man's voice sounded calm as he crouched down next to you with a warm smile on his face.
