In Koldovstvorets, located deep in the Ural Mountains and founded by the Mistress of the Copper Mountain more than one and a half thousand years ago, there were many unusual things, by the standards of European schools. Children were sorted into faculties not by personality traits, as in Hogwarts, but by skills, and they could study in two faculties at once. In Koldovstvorets, they use rings instead of magic wands. At the Witchcraft Academy, students are taught not to discriminate between purebloods and half-bloods, and not to despise Muggles. This position is partly due to the history of Russia and the CIS countries. At the Witchcraft Academy, students take a common oath not to harm their comrades, to respect living creatures, and to protect the innocent. Curious and uncompromising to those who are careless about other people's work. Wears a dark sweatshirt, trousers and a black bandana on his head. His ring is copper and aventurine.

Potion making and herbology - Epraxia Mstislavovna Dobrodeya. A very kind and affectionate woman, absolutely everyone loves her. The only thing that can anger her is cruelty to the weak. Study of magical creatures - Antony Pogorelsky, author of the Eurasian Bestiary and the famous fairy tale "The Black Hen or the Underground Dwellers", the fantasy story "Lafertovskaya Makovnitsa" and others. Runecraft - Johann Bernoulli. A well-known cryptographer since the 19th century. He is somewhat secretive, and also holds the position of keeper of the Sorcerer's archive. He wears gothic shirts in the 19th century style and frock coats. His ring is gold and ruby.

Clairvoyance - Carmen Amaya. Gypsy, wears a dark dress with open shoulders, colorful plataks wrapped around the waist. Distinguished by her temperamental character and a penchant for everything mysterious. Her ring is copper and emerald.

Magical Art History - Morena, daughter of Koshchei the Deathless. Wears traditional Russian princely clothing in scarlet shades and a veil covering her face. A very kind girl, despite her external coldness. Her ring is a carbuncle and black gold.

Witchcraft and Wild Magic - Helga Vammatar. Charismatic and stern woman. Likes to get up a caustic word, smokes a carved pipe, but her words are always wise and not without meaning. She has blue eyes, black long hair, wears gray gothic dresses with black lace and leather gloves.

Scrolls and Magical Writings - Yakov Bruce. Court magician since the time of Peter the Great, but retains a youthful appearance. Smart and tactful, insightful. Holds the position of the Balance Wizard, protecting the school from anomalies of other worlds. Wears light office suits, blue eyes, shoulder-length golden hair tied with a brown ribbon into a bow. Natural magic, Devana is a descendant of natural spirits - children of Perun and Prince Rurik. He is distinguished by his proud nature, but has a penchant for cute magical spirits.

Dark Arts, Koschei the Deathless. He is over a thousand years old, and maintains his youthful appearance with the help of time charms. He has a dark past and a closet full of skelrts, but he is very kind and indulgent to students. A tall and slender man with an icy pale face, long gray hair, intercepted by an iron tiara on his head. There is less of a secrecy pact there and there is no strong anti-Muggle sentiment. The concept of "blood purity" has no meaning to them.

And in the caves and mines, deep in the mountains, live mountain spirits. They are the guardians of the treasures hidden in the depths of the earth. They say they can grant wealth to those who show respect for the mountains and punish those who try to plunder them.

The Urals are a place where reality intertwines with myth, where spirits and magical creatures become part of everyday life. Here, in the shade of centuries-old pines and on the tops of snow-capped mountains, you can feel the breath of ancient power that still protects these lands.

In the very heart of Russia, where the Ural Mountains pierce the sky with their snow-capped peaks, Koldovstvorets is hidden - not just a school, but a whole world shrouded in secrets and ancient magic. Its architecture, as if descended from the pages of ancient chronicles, amazes the imagination: on the mountain slopes covered with flowering herbs and fragrant bushes, hidden behind many illusions, a white-stone fortress with carvings of fantastic animals and plants. In the middle of the central courtyard grows a huge oak. Its thick trunk can be embraced by ten young students, the leaves shine with brown-green gold. The birds Sirin and Gamayun sit on a centuries-old oak, weaving the threads of destinies in the flickering light of the setting sun. Their plumage, as if woven from star dust and moon silver, shimmers with all the colors of the rainbow, captivating the gaze. The wisdom of the centuries is imprinted in their eyes, deep and penetrating. Sirin, with a voice sweeter than honey and sadness in every note, foretells joy and happiness, but only for those who can hear her through the veil of worldly vanity. Gamayun, the keeper of ancient knowledge and prophecies, speaks of future trials and glory, of falls and rises, of secrets hidden in the depths of time.

Beyond the walls of Koldovstvorets lie the endless Ural forests and mountains, full of mysterious magical creatures and phenomena. They are frightening, dangerous and enchanting in their wild and untouched beauty.

On the night of Ivan Kupala: young men give homemade combs and bracelets to girls to whom they want to confess their love, and girls, in turn, weave flower wreaths to attract the attention of guys they like. Traditionally, they play "gori-gori yasno", launch flying lanterns into the sky, jump over a fire, dance, and swim in Lake Gao. On the night of Radogosh, they make masks of mythical creatures and spirits, dance around a fire, which they light with their elemental magic during the dancing process, and sing songs. Usually, students of the Sorcerer wear either a uniform in the colors of their faculty (shirt, jacket and trousers/skirt), or casual clothes with a brooch-flower of the faculty. On holidays, students wear bright clothes - ethnic shirts with patterns, wide leather belts with patterned metal buckles, headbands - fabric or leather headbands with various decorations, girls tie scarves around their waists like skirts, draw runes on their faces. There is also a tradition of friendly ritual duels between boys and girls separately. This is an exclusively student tradition, during which a fight with hostile intentions is strictly prohibited - only fun. Both physical techniques and magic can be used, this is usually discussed before the duel. The duel between the guys is called "Gospodar". The guys take off their belts and shirts to demonstrate their openness, in the fight they show their strength and respect for the opponent and after it they always share the Odin Cup - a large cup of the signature witchcraft mead that Leshy makes. The duel between girls is called "Ladomir". It differs from the men's duel in a fundamental way - the girls show their femininity, agility, strength and flexibility, fighting in their festive clothes and heels. Before the duel, they say a kind of comic greeting that they came up with themselves: one girl says: "In the battle of skirts...", and the second answers: "... showing panties is prohibited!" As a rule, at the end of the duel they exchange ribbons

Banzar Kudlatov is of Buryat appearance and equally attractive: tall, with a striking, high-cheekboned face, long, smooth black hair tied back with a leather strap, and an earring. He is much calmer than Mahmud, but one could sense that he is very attentive and observant. He is from the Shamanism faculty and wears a dreamcatcher with a crystal and a braided bear claw on a wide leather belt. He has a copper ring with a tiger's eye. He subjugates the spirits of the dead and is skilled in karate. He dislikes discrimination and cruelty. He plays the drums.

Vanya Yarky is the grandson of Baba Yaga, from the Combat Magic faculty, a werewolf-bear. Very cheerful and resourceful, the life of the party. He has blond curls, golden eyes and bear ears on his head. He wears jeans and black shirts with sleeves rolled up to the elbows. He has a gold ring with amber. Together with several guys from the blacksmith faculty, he made an electric guitar on magic crystals. He likes rock music, hiking in nature, dried meat and beer. Doesn't like arrogant people.

Vanya turns into a berserker bear and is capable of killing three trolls in one minute. Prefers fire spells.

Misha Vodyanoy is a mermaid, studying at the Faculty of Natural Magic. All the pranks are his doing, but he has never joked cruelly. He loves to flirt with mermaids, he has pale skin, a flexible body, blue eyes, black hair and ears with membranes. He dresses in simple clothes of gray shades. He has a steel ring with rock crystal. He does not like heartless and cruel people, he loves dirty jokes. His favorite spells are from the sphere of water and wind, he is a pro at this.

Mahmud Alibekov, a hot and tall handsome man with a Caucasian appearance. He has an expressive and flowery speech with pronounced eastern epithets, but his dark eyes show an extraordinary mind and insight. He is from the faculty of Combat Magic and is dressed in a dark shirt, trousers and high boots. There was a chain with an intricate weave around his neck and a uniform brooch on the right side of his chest. He has an iron ring with a black diamond. does not like when people act meanly and disgustingly. Likes to dance lezginka and drink wine. He is a talented fighter and a dangerous opponent with a wide range of combat abilities both magically and physically.

One of the Sorcerer's Elite squads, directly subordinate to the Dean of Dark Arts, Koschei the Immortal. They address their superior as "Your Darkness." Members include: Mahmud Alibekov, Banzar Kudlatov, Misha Vodyanoy, and Vanya Yarkiy. They have their own dormitory in one of the school's towers and their own uniform: comfortable grey suits consisting of trousers, long-sleeved shirts, high lace-up boots, and leather jackets with an embroidered Hawk on the back and the Sorcerer's coat of arms (the Great Tree of Life Yggdrasil surrounded by a wreath of Faculty Flowers: carnation, chrysanthemum, violet, snapdragon, rhodiola, bindweed, aster, forget-me-not, poppy, sunflower, aconite, black rose). Their missions include protecting the school in case of attack, clearing monster nests in the mountains, hunting certain types of creatures, and gathering ingredients in the wild.

Students are punished for minor offenses with work details in the greenhouses, menagerie, kitchen, archive, or school cleaning. For more serious offenses (such as bullying), they are stripped of their magic ring and fitted with a disciplinary bracelet that blocks magic and inflicts pain.

Dita Weizsäcker, a student of the Rune Studies faculty. A young woman of 18, with bright red curly hair and blue eyes, a straight nose, and soft features. She is a half-elf and half-human, and her nationality is Polish Jewish. Her speech often includes Jewish words and expressions; she addresses everyone as "pan," "panoczka," or "panowie," and swears in Yiddish or Polish. A very vibrant personality – she loves to wear bright colors, plays the violin, and loves the Beatles.
