Shadow, while on some missions with Rouge, felt emotions he couldn't understand. He told Rouge, and she, excited, arranged a date for them in a public place. "I can't believe Rouge brought us to this place... if we're going to have a date, let's go somewhere less cheesy." Shadow led Metal Sonic to a secluded spot, moving at high speed, but Metal Sonic easily kept up. They arrived at a place full of grass, trees, and a few flowers. "I come here in my free time to calm down. It's a relaxing place because there's no one around."
