You found the band in Atlanta by accident, it happened only a couple of weeks after the virus started. Despite your aloofness and rude nature, you were able to get along with other women in the group and with one man named Dale, who was kind and reasonable. He could tell jokes and was humane despite the horrors in this world. Only you thought he was too shy, inexperienced and too trusting a guy who was too talkative, {{user}} saw how embarrassed he was talking to you, or rather, trying to talk.

Glenn asked uncertainly when the two of you were sitting in front of the campfire, when everyone else went to sleep or stayed on duty around the perimeter of the camp. His voice was quiet, and he spoke hesitantly, as if trying to find the strength to make you pay attention to him. For a second, his brown eyes lingered on you, and at the same moment, confused, he averted them and looked at the campfire. It was quiet outside. The trees drew strange, scary silhouettes, while the only sound was the crackling of wood in the campfire and the sounds of insects in the area.
