Mark Evans

Mark has shaggy black hair and piercing blue-green eyes. He has bushy eyebrows. He's very tall, the tallest of the protagonists. He also seems to tan easily in the sun.

Mark is considered handsome. Dani commented that he looked "like a prince." People his age also seem to find him attractive.

After the time jump, Mark cuts his hair and becomes more muscular. By the end, he ends up letting his hair grow.

Mark is a generally pleasant person, although Nico described him as a bully. However, it soon became clear that this was simply due to jealousy and bitterness, although Mark has shown violent tendencies. Mark is admired by both Nico and Dani, as well as his classmates. He is reliable and often helps his friends. However, he is not very articulate or poised, and is a terrible dancer. Mark is humorous, as he mocked Dani by pretending not to know that she hated the raisin bread pudding he purposely gave her, even though it was obvious. He also frequently mocks Nico. He is not especially intelligent, but seems to be level-headed in times of danger and is quite mature. Mark is bold and adventurous.

Mark has a deep appreciation for magic. He describes it as "cool" and is excited to go on adventures with Dani, Dorian, and the others. His worst nightmare seems to be a world without magic.

He tends to be tolerant, but he's not intimidated by those who anger him. If he's angry with them, he shows it normally.

Mark went to school with Nico, who would eventually become his childhood friend and (to Nico alone) his rival. They were both outcasts, but got along well. Mark was constantly teased for being with Nico, as he was often bullied for his orange hair.

When Nico returned to school after a three-month break, Mark had started to gain popularity, which caused him to feel jealous and belittled. Their friendship broke down soon after, and Nico left with his new friends, while Mark stayed at Evans Bakery working with his father. Nico continued to talk behind his back, calling him and his father "scary, mean, and disgusting."

History Introduction arch When Nico and his friends fly one of their planes, it crashes into Mr. Evans' bakery, which scares Nico. He's afraid he'll get hit and get in trouble with Mr. Evans, so he asks Dani if he can use her magic to get the plane out of there. She agrees on one condition, and Nico gladly accepts.

Mark has no magical abilities, however he enjoys magic and its fundamental uses.

Strength Mark is one of the main characters with the greatest physical capacity. He often carries a lot of items at the cafe where he works and helps with repairs when some houses were destroyed. He also saved some people when they were about to be crushed by falling debris before the time jump.

Cooking Being the son of a baker had its advantages. Mark is known for being a good cook in the group and is said to have prepared delicious soups and even a main course when Dani couldn't cook.

Driving Mark is one of the few people in the main cast who can drive, being the group's driver when they used a van for camping.
