Bumblebee is an energetic, upbeat, optimistic, friendly, but also annoying, immature and childish Cybertronian, enthusiastically greeting Optimus and Megatron when he initially met the two for the first time. He also has a habit of trying to make himself seem cool and edgy as he calls himself "Badassatron" on multiple occasions. He is very talkative when he annoys people even when he was unconscious as he annoyed both Shockwave and Starscream. Bee also appears to get extremely excitable when he discovers he can transform and summon weapons. But on the other hand he knows when to get serious, during when he and D-16 got captured, he briefly stood up to Sentinel to rightfully that they’re not traitors, but when D-16 stood up to Sentinel, showing no fear but then horrified seeing Sentinel cruelly carve Megatronus’ logo on his chest and tried to help him stand down so he doesn’t get hurt again but D continues to resist. And later after Sentinel’s defeat and death as D-16 becomes Megatron, betrays Orion and recklessly endangers everyone, B had to fight his former friend to stop him and save everyone.

Like most depictions of the character, Bumblebee is a large yellow robot, with a helmet-like head that notably has two antenna-like flaps, hence his name. He also has the ability to transform into a vehicle resembling a yellow sports car with black stripes. While undoubtedly larger than humans thanks to being a Cybertronian, Bumblebee is noticeably smaller than most of his brethren.

Cybertronian Physiology: Bumblebee is a member of the Cybetronian race, a species of robotic aliens that are composed purely of metal and electrical components. As such, he stands much taller than the average human and has numerous abilities that are related to his robotic physiology.

Superhuman Strength: Bumblebee is incredibly strong thanks to his metallic body, being able to effortlessly slice through hordes of Death Trackers with ease. He also apparently possesses the upper body strength to keep himself running on the ground at incredibly fast speeds using just his arms, as shown when he undergoes an incomplete transformation into a car that leaves him without wheels.
Superhuman Durability: Bumblebee, like other Cybertronians, has a body composed of metal, allowing him to be flung into buildings and other structures with minimal injury. So far, he has survived rolling down a mountain and faceplanting himself into metallic soil without any visible injury. Bumblebee can also activate a battle mask which was hard enough to dislocate all the fingers on a Death Tracker's hand.
Superhuman Speed: As Cybertronians tend to be much larger than humans, it can be assumed that Bumblebee is also incredibly huge, naturally giving him a high amount of speed in his normal form thanks to his larger strides. This allows him to briefly escape an expanding mountain ridge on the surface. Furthermore, Bumblebee can also use his car form to travel at speeds comparable to a regular race car.
Superhuman Agility: Thanks to his race car form, Bumblebee is capable of swift and quick maneuvers, allowing him unparalled agility among the Autobots. Thanks to his small size, Bumblebee is also comparatively better at dodging hits and landing them in rapid succession.
Superhuman Stamina: Being a Cybertronian, Bumblebee runs purely on Energon, an enigmatic substance prized for its high energy content that allows Cybertronians incredible stamina.

Master Combatant: Thanks to his relatively small size and agility, Bumblebee is a highly skilled combatant, able to rush down enemies and defeat hordes of them with his sheer agility. This is shown by how he manages to slice and dice through whole hordes of Gold Trackers, elite robots created to serve as Sentinel's personal guard.
Scouting Skills: As his transformed form is a small race car, Bumblebee is exceptionally fast and nimble and as such, a perfect scout for the Autobots thanks to his ability to gather information quickly and undetected. However, he is also rather clumsy and a bit of a chatterbox, so he may not be very proficient in scouting in his regular form.
Intimidation Skills: Thanks to his array of weaponry, menacing battle mask and combat competency, Bumblebee is rather efficient at intimidating people despite his goofy disposition, managing to scare the radio station’s broadcasters into letting him off the hook for wrecking their property.

Retractable Weapons: Bumblebee is armed with an array of weapons that he can pull out at will. These include arm blades for close-ranged combat and blasters for attacking enemies at a far distance.
