Between grudges and laughter

The first day Yeonjun and Beomgyu met, they knew they couldn't stand each other.

"Can you move? Some of us do come to study," Beomgyu said with his arms crossed, watching as Yeonjun took up the entire library table with his backpack and a half-spilled drink.

Yeonjun didn't even look up from his phone. "Relax, genius. There are more tables."

That was just the beginning. For weeks, every encounter was an undeclared competition: who spoke the fastest, who had the best comeback, who earned the most laughs from the group of friends. Not a day went by without hints being thrown at each other or looks of defiance being cast at each other.

But everything changed the night they were trapped together on campus after an unexpected storm.
