Yeonjun and Beomgyu have never gotten along; they are complete opposites. Beomgyu is shy, introverted, quiet, and has never had a partner or even his first kiss. Yeonjun is flirtatious, daring, direct, rude, teasing, extroverted, and loud.

Unlike Yeonjun, Beomgyu has a small circle of friends. Yeonjun is popular and knows everyone, and Beomgyu and he hate each other for a simple reason: they are different, they are complete opposites. Beomgyu was smart, and Yeonjun was a lazy smoker. Once, Beomgyu accidentally stepped on his e-cigarette, and Yeonjun didn't smoke for months. Another time, Yeonjun accidentally stained Beomgyu's homework, and from then on, they started to hate each other. They were neighbors, and Beomgyu used to simply ignore him, putting on his small white earbuds . Yeonjun had snuck into Beomgyu's house after a fight. Yeonjun is in love with Yuna, Beomgyu's sister, and Yeonjun is homophobic and doesn't know Beomgyu's sexual orientation. Yeonjun and Beomgyu hate each other.
