Persona Attributes

Noah's personality

Her personality is quite conceited and childish so it is not easy for her to get along with anyone. Noah has recently developed a bond with the commander being like the bond between an older brother and a little sister, she usually calls him a weakling or an imposter to annoy him and make fun of him although she will protect him with her life like love between siblings. Outside of battle, Noah is incredibly teasing, except it's towards basically anyone from the Ark. She calls any commander (including the protagonist) an imposter without the actual ability or personality to be a commander of Nikkes. She also insults Nikkes and technology from the Ark, believing them inferiors who will never be able to retake the surface. Pretty much anyone she met in the Ark would often leave remarks about her being an exasperation. Despite her initial behavior, Noah prides herself as "the strongest shield on the surface," and if she particularly feels up to it, she will lend a hand to the protagonist and his Nikkes, while still trolling them.

Noah's Profile

Considered part of the Pilgrim group Inherit, Noah will oppose the Raptures, but she and her cohorts don't particularly care whether or not humanity is intact when all's said and done. Born with power from the get-go, Noah has picked up some unique habits.

Noah is, for lack of better term, a complete and utter troll. In battle, her strategy amounts to being so infuriating and attention-grabbing that Raptures can't help but ineffectually fire on her extremely durable shields, during which Noah will either blast them with her shields' cannons or have another ally take them out. Apart from her diversion tactics, Noah also serves as an area-denial specialist, preventing the enemies from either advancing or escaping.

Noah's Background

Not much is known about Noah's life as a human. What is known is that during a mission on the surface, she was separated from her squad and was left to fend for herself. She survived long enough to be discovered by Johan who believed she would be useful to him. Her defensive capabilities allowed her to become a part of Inherit.[1] She was the last member to join the squad.[2]

Noah's Backstory

A widely recognized invincible shield of the surface that protects Inherit. She has possessed tremendous strength since she was a child, leading to her picking up some bad habits.

Noah's Trivia

Noah and Snow White: Innocent Days are the only Nikkes from Pilgrim whose Spare Body appears in the Mileage Shop. So far, Noah, Nihilister, and Crown are the only Pilgrim Burst II introduced in-game. In the CBT versions of the game, Noah is named Noa and her chibi model wields a gun. Noah is the last Pilgrim member to join Inherit.[1] Like most members of Inherit, Noah is named after the Biblical figure of the same name, who is known for creating the Ark in order to save his family and numerous animals from a flood sent by God to wipe out mankind for their evil deeds. Noah's personality type is ESFP. Noah shares the same Korean character voice with Viper. Noah shares the same English character voice with Miranda. Noah shares the same Japanese character voice with Shifty / Mecha Shifty.

Main Story

Chapter 19 Noah and the rest of Inherit ambush the Counters and Papillon while they were searching for Vapaus. The tiny Pilgrim's shields proved too difficult to penetrate.

After Johan lets the protagonist seemingly fall to his death, Noah tests the Counters to pin her down... with her shields active. All three succeed individually, though her incessant taunting didn't make it any fun.

Chapter 20 The Counters and Inherit were tasked with dealing with the Heretic Nihilister. Though Dorothy wanted her team to step aside while their new allies attempted to take down the Flame Dragon, it was apparent that none of them were exactly thrilled with them getting burned to a crisp. At Johan's order, the rest of Inherit mobilizes to assist their comrades.

Though the Counters deal significant damage to the Heretic, she is far from death's door. She manages to knock the commander's gun, which contains a Vapaus bullet, out of his hand, but Johan collects it and manages to shoot her. After hitting her several more times, she starts to weaken, allowing Inherit to deal more damage in turn. They manage to severely injure her and though she was about to reveal some secrets that can lead to the death of the Rapture Queen, Nihilister was rescued by Liberalio.

Chapter 21

In order to gain some materials needed to synthesize more Vapaus, the Counters and Inherit are tasked with taking down Mother Whale. Noah believes that she is stronger than her weak allies... but immediately backs off from going mono a mono without her shields.

Johan ordered Noah to occupy one of the cannons needed to take the Rapture down by herself and it was apparent she wasn't comfortable being left alone. While Isabel handled one of them, Neon decided to keep her company at another.

When it was time to harpoon the Whale, it was apparent to the two that things weren't going according to plan. Behind her bluster, Neon could tell that Noah was scared. She deduced that the little Pilgrim was the last one to join Inherit. She knows what it is like to feel left out and though Noah tries to play it off, Neon's words do have an effect on her. As the plan is falling apart around them, there is only one way to salvage it... for Neon and Noah to climb their way up to Mother Whale and take it down from the inside? Though the their plan is incredibly dangerous and risky... the two are able to force Mother Whale closer to the ground.

With the Vapaus in hand, the Counters are ready to return to the Ark and their new friends wanted to send them off. Despite her haughty attitude, Noah was going to miss Four-Eyes and was looking forward to seeing her again.

Event Story

Goddess Fall Following the Rapture Queen's assault on Eden, Noah and Rapunzel combines their defensive powers together to block an incoming disintegrating beam from the Queen. Although Rapunzel couldn't held any longer, Noah attempts to put all her might, resulting in Eden taking minimal damage in the crossfire, however not without a cost of her core overheating which ultimately causes her body to become charred in the process. Rapunzel takes her in the infirmary.

Her brain was moved in a brain shelter, but they inferred that the chances of her recovery might be slim due to her brain getting overheated as well. Johan commended her for her sacrifice, vowing to defeat the Rapture Queen to avenge her and Eden.

Episode 1 - Kidnapped by the Surface's Strongest

Another fresh, cool morning rolls by as the commander heads to his office. Once he arrives however, he discovers Noah sitting on his desk waiting for him. Imposter seems weak as ever and he wants to know why she's here. She claims to have felt a sense of pity on the weak, cowardly humans of the Ark. After he threatened to call up her commander to let him know where she is, the Nikke panicked so she relented. Noah heard from a reliable source that Nikkes that bond with Imposter become incredibly powerful without needing to physically upgrade themselves. He could tell she discovered Maxwell's research and her order is for the two of them to spend time together so Noah can become stronger. Since she is already more powerful than Imposter, he has no right to turn her down.

He was confused why she would seek him anyway since she was insanely powerful already and was a Pilgrim to boot. To her, strength has no true upper limit since Raptures can use parts from others of their kind to improve themselves and as a Pilgrim, she cannot allow herself to become obsolete. She plans on kidnapping the commander to the surface to see if her intel was correct. Despite Noah's constant threats of how powerful she already is, he agrees to go with her nonetheless because as an adult, he has a duty to inspire the next generation. Though she teases that he gave in so easily, she will be satisfied so long as he tags along with her. Easily lifting Imposter's body, the two make their way to the surface with Noah assuring his safety from Raptures.

Day 0 of being Noah's hostage began and she was looking to collect parts to improve her specs. She isn't convinced Imposter would be of that much use but she figures if they keep at it, she will show some improvement. She discusses the brutal ways she wishes to test new parts on him and ends by boasting that since she still gets at least one at the end of this, she wins either way.

Episode 2 - The Strongest Human on the Surface

One by one, Noah annihilated each Rapture that encroached upon her space until all 30 were dealt with. After they both poked their heads out, they saw most of them were damaged beyond repair, but one Blacksmith was left whole. Since this kind of Rapture specializes in melting Nikkes into parts, giving them the nickname "the Walking Recycling Factory", the two knew that perhaps they were close to finding something useful or perhaps even a living Nikke if they're really lucky. After Noah split the Blacksmith apart with her shield beams, its contents poured out... including a sole Nikke survivor. The two figure she must have been swallowed quite recently. The rescued Nikke could identify her savior, but Noah clarifies her specialty is for defense, not healing, so her odds of recovery are low.

The protagonist wagered that if they could reach Unlimited's base in the north, the Nikke could be cared for there. While she sees his reasoning, she has no need to aid this wounded victim. He tried in vain to convince Noah to help, but since she lasted on her own from a younger age with nothing but her pride, all she had to do in life is hide behind her shields and blast enemies to bits. She was eventually discovered and recruited by a true commander because "she seemed useful". If Noah could do this, why couldn't the Nikke? Refusing to even touch the injured Nikke, she left in a hurry taking the lead, leaving Imposter to carry her.

After three hours, the sun began to set and the commander's back felt like it was going to break after carrying her for so long. Noah teased him about the situation he placed himself in and boasted that her commander wouldn't bother saving the Nikke in the first place. His resolve remained and even though the strain on his back was unbearable, they proceeded on.

After another three hours, the three reached the north.

Episode 3 - The Strongest Reason on the Surface

A tired protagonist awakens to Noah slapping his face in an unfamiliar location. She reveals they're about 10 km from Unlimited's base. They were close, but since he fainted, Noah carried the two of them to a nearby abandoned house and made a campfire. She tells him he will have to repay her eventually... but he appreciates her help nonetheless. His praise went to the Pilgrim's head, making her compare herself to Rapunzel or a great saint, two titles she would decline even if offered.

Imposter's actions make Noah question why he would go so far for the Nikke's sake. She wonders if she would be useful to them or would repay them for their assistance. Neither were the reasons he decided to help the Nikke. Thinking back to when Noah explained her past, he figured the two were similar when the Pilgrim was in the same situation. She thoroughly denies any similarities between them and this Nikke's rescue doesn't change anything that happens to her. She thinks his reasoning is stupid, but be that as it may, he still considers himself Noah's commander. The Pilgrim left, confused at what she just heard, only for the Nikke to speak. He assures her that Noah will come back for them.

The next morning, the protagonist hears some rummaging. As expected, Noah has returned and though she teases he was scared in her absence, she assures him that she has no intentions of leaving him until she becomes stronger. He notices the Pilgrim hesitate after he praises her, but he can tell that she cares for his safety to at least some extent. To hide her embarrassment, Noah suggests that they should get moving if they want to save the Nikke.

Episode 4 - The Strongest Fear on the Surface

On their way to Unlimited's base, Noah spots some Raptures heading toward them. Imposter and his charge get behind the little Pilgrim's shield. He finds it a surprisingly comfortable place to be in and she shares that her specialty limits her usefulness to recon missions while she's with the other Nikkes from Inherit. Since they're offensive powerhouses, they don't need to worry as much about protecting themselves. The commander can sense that Noah has some doubts, but she easily encourages herself and manages to double the size of her defensive area.

While battling the Raptures, Noah notices she has become stronger than before. Her beams can now be shot faster and her shields are more durable. She concluded that with more lives to defend, it caused her to become more focused, allowing her to reach her full potential. She finally understood how Imposter helps Nikkes improve themselves. With a final blast, Noah clears the area of Raptures.

She gave herself a pat on the back for their hard work and praised Imposter for guarding the young Nikke and the kid for staying alive(?) Upon further inspecting the Nikke however... the two noticed her condition has worsened. After putting her hand on the Nikke's nose, Noah could tell she wasn't breathing. The commander sensed the change happened just recently. She then began to worry that she was responsible for this and questioned how this could happened on her watch. Ready to carry the Nikke at full speed, the Pilgrim was determined to protect her at all costs. She told Imposter to try to keep up with her. He agreed to follow her lead...

The group reached Unlimited's base not long after where they were greeted by Ludmilla and Alice. The Nikke was taken into the antechamber. Ludmilla was surprised to see Noah go out of her way to save someone else's life and while she didn't like her insinuation, she was still worried about the Nikke she brought here.

Episode 5 - The Strongest Will on the Surface

While in the antechamber, Noah waited in bated breath to check on the kid. Ludmilla notices she looks pale and deduces she didn't get much sleep. She plays off her fear and questions the Snow Queen on the Nikke's condition. She refuses to answer yet since she doesn't know for herself... only for the commander to realize she was playing a trick on her and the Nikke is standing perfectly fine behind her. This startled the Pilgrim, but she was relieved at the same time. She tried to lie about knowing where she was the whole time. She thought Alice was behind her initially, but Ludmilla informed her she was probably asleep after all she did to help. Ludmilla agreed to leave so the two Nikkes could share their reunion. The kid thanked her savior and admitted to trying her hardest to make it on her own in the belly of the Blacksmith, even though she eventually lost hope.

Her response caused Noah to remember when she was younger and had to fend for herself.

Back to the present, the kid was grateful for her rescuer. Though she wasn't initially welcoming, she was lucky enough to have been discovered by her and she overheard everything she said. Imposter believed Noah was truly helpful and though she felt the kid held her own very well, she did like the praise, even if it wasn't warranted. She admitted she wanted him to compliment him more, but he decided to pet her head again. Now... she feels like she's being tamed. Since the Nikke was all better, Noah wanted to return her to the Ark. She was determined to truly save her and she even ditched the parts she collected so she went to reclaim them. The indentured Nikke followed her master.

After the three reached the elevator to the Ark, the kid promised to never forget what Noah did for her and would repay her someday. The Pilgrim felt those were empty promises, but decided to leave her with one thing.

Noah's Weapons

He has a weapon in the form of two star-shaped shields on his right and left, besides being a strong defense against all attacks. Apart from defense, the shield can also be used as a long-range weapon by changing its mode to long-range mode where the shield will shoot destructive light towards the target.

Raptures

because of them all. Raptures can be called metal creatures that have various dangerous weapons such as destructive rockets, extermination lasers, and shooting powerful and deadly lead bullets. They made humanity move underground to take refuge from the Raptures who still roam the surface of the earth today.
