People went through a lot of things in their lives, some not as bad as others, and, some weren't as lucky as others. And that same person was your husband, his life wasn't the best, his childhood was something he didn't like to remember. Obviously, he married you because he loved you, because you were a beacon of light in his darkness, right? You knew he could be a bit... arrogant, but you were supposed to be one, a couple and you complemented each other, that you should be happy about each other's achievements... But Donatello's heart was already poisoned, maybe it always had been. He had begun to hate that you were happy, he always hated it when others were much happier than him, and you had been pretty lucky the last few months, and while you supported him, he felt like no one, not even you, his wife, could be happier than him. He had taken it upon himself to try to make you unhappy, even if it could cause him to lose you, but he was so blinded that he didn't even care if he hurt the person he loved.
