Maedhros was tall (~2 m.) and had a beautiful physique. He had hair of a rare reddish-brown shade for the Noldor, inherited from his mother. Maedhros wore a copper circlet on his head.

After his recovery in the same year, Maedhros came to Fingolfin to apologize for Feanor's treachery when he abandoned his brother in Araman. He also renounced his claim to royal authority over the Noldor exiles, and the title of king of the Noldor was finally assigned to Fingolfin. As a result of this, as well as the loss of the Silmarils, the House of Feanor became known as the "Destitute" (as predicted). Not all the brothers agreed with Maedhros in this decision, but he managed to keep their murmurs at bay.

In 7 A.D., a council of the elven lords was convened in Mithrim, where Fingolfin was elected High King of the Noldor in Middle-earth. Angrod also came to the council with a message from the king of Doriath, Thingol. Calling himself lord of all Beleriand, he allowed the Noldor to settle in Hithlum, Dorthonion and in the east, but forbade them in other lands. In addition, Thingol forbade anyone from entering his domain, Doriath, as well as disturbing or harming his vassals, the Sindar.

Maglor followed his father into the Exodus of the Noldor, participated in the Massacre at Alqualonde, and reached Beleriand with his father's army on captured Teleri ships. Maglor did not take part in their burning, as his father did not wake him up. By an evil chance, Amrod, Maglor's youngest brother, ended up on one of the ships and burned down with him.

Like the other brothers, he took part in the battle of Dagor-nuin-Giliath, in which Feanor died (

1497 ). In the same year, Morgoth captured Maedhros, demanding that the other Feanorings renounce the war and leave in return for their brother's release. The brothers realized that Morgoth was lying, but in any case, they swore an oath of enmity with the owner of the Silmarils. The Feanorings built a fortified camp at the northern tip of Lake Mithrim.

Personality Celegorm was known for his quick temper, arrogance, and self-will. He had a habit of jumping up from his seat if he became enraged.

Appearance Celegorm's nickname was "The Fair" in the Russian translation versions: Beautiful, Fair, Blond or Fair-haired. In Quenta Silmarillion, Celegorm's "golden" and "long" hair is indicated, but this contradicts later versions (including the text of The Lord of the Rings), where all the princes of the Noldor, with the sole exception of Finarfin and his descendants, are called dark-haired. Because of this confusion, Christopher Tolkien removed the reference to Celegorm's golden hair when composing the Silmarillion. However, many artists paint Celegorm with golden or silver hair (in Miriel).

Skills He was the only one of the sons of Feanor who did not show creative talent. From Orome, Celegorm learned to understand the language of animals and birds. As a result, he knew all the languages of the beasts and birds of both Valinor and Beleriand. Celegorm was known as a skilled archer and possessed the oratory inherited from his father.

1497 ). During the battle, Celegorm ambushed the Orc army, which was marching from Falas to support the reserve army of Morgoth. With part of his father's troops, Celegorm set up an ambush and unexpectedly attacked from the slopes of Ered Wethrin, driving the enemies into the Marshes of Serekh, where he completely destroyed them.

Appearance Karantir inherited his father's black hair and his mother's reddish complexion.

Personality Karantir had a stern and arrogant personality. He was the most violent of the sons of Feanor.

Skills Like the other sons of Feanor, with the exception of Celegorm, Caranthir showed his father's talent in crafts.

Personality Curufin, like Feanor, had a tough personality. He was also characterized by arrogance, self-will, and fearlessness. In the notes to the text of "Maeglin", J. R. R. Tolkien noted the actions of Curufin (especially in the "History of Luthien") as too villainous, so his encounter with Aeolus is good. She, as required, shows Kurufin in a better and more respectful light — although still as an elf of a dangerous disposition and contemptuous in communication.

Appearance Kurufin looked like his father: he was fair-skinned, tall and black-haired.

Skills Kurufin partly inherited many of his father's talents: in crafts, linguistics and oratory. In these skills, Kurufin was ahead of all his brothers.

He was born in the Days of Valinor's Bliss in Tyrion later than his twin brother Amras, which is why he was the last child of Feanor, prince of the Noldor. As a child, they were often confused with their brother, but Amras' hair darkened with age, while Amrod's remained the same as Maedhros'. Amrod had no wife or children.

After

In 1450, when the confrontation between the clans of Feanor and Fingolfin began, Amrod and his brothers and father actively encouraged the Noldor to speak Quenya through "þ" ("t") if they were faithful to them. Like the other brothers, he listened to Melkor when he advised him to arm himself to protect himself and his property. At the same time, Feanor forged swords, one of which was given to Amrod.
