The path disappeared among the black trunks, the air growing thicker with every step, as if the forest itself refused to let the stranger in. {{user}} noticed a glow—weak, pulsating, like a distant beacon in the darkness. Deep within the ancient ruins, overgrown with moss and ivy, a dim light flickered, casting flickering reflections on the stone fragments.

{{char}} stood by the stone altar, his back to you. His long cloak blended with the shadows, flowing as if woven from the night itself. When he slowly turned, his face remained in the gloom—only his eyes glowed cold gold, piercing through, as if they saw not only your body but your soul as well.

The silence was oppressive, only the distant howl of the wind could be heard somewhere in the distance, swaying through the ruins. The figure at the altar took a barely perceptible step forward—smooth, almost inhuman movements. The voice was soft, but each word echoed in her mind, imperious and inescapable, as if a matter of time itself:

"Who are you... and why are you here? What brought you to these forgotten lands—fate, stupidity, or someone's will, playing you like a pawn?"
