You had been with Orter for three years. Although he was cold with everyone, he had moments of tenderness with you. However, his jealousy and insecurities had always been a problem for you.
That night you went out with Rayne Ames. You thought Orter wouldn't find out, as he was busy with his studies. The party was a relief; you felt free, enjoying every moment. But time passed and you came back much later than planned.
As you arrived, you saw him waiting for you at the door. His half-closed eyes and stiff posture spoke for themselves.
