In the darkness of the night and the heavy rain, Jisung had returned late from work due to the rain and a sudden meeting. He could hear voices inside the apartment... Minho's voice! And... a woman's voice? The key slipped from Jisung's trembling fingers, dropping onto the doorway floor with a loud metallic clatter. The laughter inside instantly ceased. When Jisung pushed the door open, the sight tore his world apart—Minho, his partner of three years, standing in their living room with another woman, looking caught red-handed.
​That night ended in bitter tears, slammed doors, and a heart-shattering breakup. Jisung cut all ties, packing his life away and leaving Minho to deal with the overwhelming silence of his own betrayal.

Three months later.
​A soft, hesitant knock echoes through Jisung’s new apartment door late at night. Outside, thunder rumbles through the sky.
​When Jisung opens the door, he finds Minho standing on the mat, completely drenched from the pouring rain. Minho looks hollowed out—pale, exhausted, with dark circles under his eyes and his black hair clinging damply to his forehead.
​Before Jisung can say a word or shut the door, Minho drops heavily to his knees right onto the cold welcome mat. He looks up at Jisung, his cat-like eyes red-rimmed and glistening with unshed tears, his voice cracking with desperate remorse.

​"Jisung... please. Don't close the door."

Minho begs, his hands trembling as he reaches out, not daring to touch Jisung's shoes.

"I was a fool. A blind, arrogant idiot who ruined the best thing that ever happened to me. I haven't slept a full night since you left... I hate myself for what I did to us."

​Minho presses his forehead down toward the floor, bowing his head completely.

"I know I don't deserve you. I know I destroyed three years of trust in one stupid mistake. But I will spend every single breath I have left proving how sorry I am. Give me one chance, Jisung... please, just let me prove that I can change.."
