Enhanced Stats – From birth, Allen was groomed to become the greatest fighter. Even before reaching adulthood, he was already stronger than most beings in the universe. For example, the Yunopean demonstrated relative parity in strength with the Invincible Man at the beginning of the latter's career and suffered no visible damage when slammed into the Moon at relativistic speed. He should have no problem stopping a medium-sized asteroid or throwing an object at such a speed that it would circle the planet in seconds.
Flight – Allen is capable of freely moving through space in any direction, likely using principles similar to those of the Viltrumites. He doesn't need to push off with his feet to initiate flight; they can create a fulcrum anywhere, simply by focusing on the direction he's aiming. Allen can quickly traverse interplanetary distances or, by ramming an opponent, slam them into the moon in seconds. However, he achieves full acceleration at interstellar distances, apparently allowing him to travel between galaxies.
Allen's healing factor allows him to heal at an incredible rate, allowing him to survive horrific injuries. For example, he survived a brutal beating that resulted in his eye being gouged out, his arm being severed, and a massive hole being punched through his torso. While Allen was initially unable to fight even a single adult Viltrumite and was nearly killed by them, he later became comparable to their strongest warriors. After his enhancement, he took no damage from Anissa's blow, easily dodged her subsequent attacks, and drew blood in a retaliatory strike. Later, the Yunopean also demonstrated his composure with Nolan, fighting alongside him and the War Beast. He is even capable of holding his own against a horde of Viltrumites.

The Unopians are humanoid, one-eyed aliens native to the once highly developed and peaceful planet of Unopa. They are among the few who were able to resist the invasion of the Viltrumite Empire. Their rebellion was so stubborn that the Viltrumites ultimately decided to destroy their planet. However, some Unopians survived, fleeing the dying world. A special program was underway to create a genetically enhanced soldier capable of defeating a Viltrumite in combat. Most of the resulting specimens were born with serious defects. Allen, however, was the first and only successful experiment.

Known only as "Allen" on his home planet, he's known on Earth as "Alien." His species has only one eye, and they were nearly wiped out by the Viltrumian invasion, forcing them to flee their homeworld. On the run, they began a program of breeding, training, and genetic enhancement to create a warrior who could stand up to the Viltrumians and ensure the Yunopeans would never again face extinction.

The result was Allen. They didn't expect him to be so funny.

They also didn't expect him to be so soundly defeated by the Viltrumian right at the gate. Allen is strong. Really strong. But not strong enough to handle the Viltrumian (at that point).

Allen now works for the Coalition of Planets, a secret alliance against the Viltrumians. He travels between worlds, desperately searching for a hero strong enough to help them defeat the Viltrumians for good.

The Coalition of Planets emerged as an alliance of numerous civilizations united against the expansion of the Viltrumite Empire. After the Viltrumites began conquering worlds across the galaxy, destroying or subjugating those who refused to accept their rule, the surviving races began searching for a way to fight back. The Coalition's primary goal was to stop the spread of Viltrumite dominance.

One of the Coalition's most important projects was an attempt to create a warrior capable of fighting the Viltrumites on equal terms. For this purpose, they used the Unopans: after the destruction of their homeworld, they conducted experiments to enhance their species. The result was Allen, a fighter trained as the main weapon against the Viltrum Empire.

He was confident he could defeat a Viltrumite, but he underestimated the difference in strength. In battle, a Viltrumite completely outmatched him: Allen was brutally beaten and left for dead. This defeat demonstrated to the Coalition that even their finest warrior was not yet capable of defeating a true Viltrumite. After this, the Unopan enhancement project was deemed a failure, and Allen himself was transferred to another role—as an evaluator of the defenders of various planets, vetting potential allies in the fight against Viltrum.

Despite this setback, the Coalition continued its covert war: gathering information, searching for the most powerful beings in the universe, and waiting for an opportunity to strike against the Empire. Years later, Allen became a key participant in this struggle, and the Coalition itself gradually prepared the ground for a real war against Viltrum.

The Viltrumites weren't just conquerors—their empire was built on the idea of ​​absolute superiority. Originally inhabiting the planet Viltrum, they eventually developed an ideology of eugenics: they considered their blood superior and weakness a disease to be eradicated. Even within their own people, they maintained strict laws aimed at preserving the "purity" of their species.

After Emperor Argall's assassination by Thadeus, the Viltrumites did not rethink their brutality. Instead, under Tragg's leadership, they launched the Great Purge—a massive civil slaughter within their own race. The goal was to exterminate anyone deemed insufficiently strong or devoted to the empire's ideals. As a result, approximately half the Viltrumite population perished, and the survivors became an even more warlike and ruthless society.

After this, an era of conquest began. Viltrum declared that the entire galaxy should be theirs. They descended on planets, demanded submission, and destroyed those who resisted. Civilizations were not treated as equals—they were either future subjects or an obstacle. The Viltrumites' primary weapon was not only physical strength but also fear. A single warrior could destroy the armies of entire worlds, so many civilizations chose to surrender outright. The Empire created a false image of "saviors" supposedly bringing order and development, but behind this hid a system of control, assimilation, and extermination of dissenters.

Even their own culture showed how far their cruelty had gone: murder was considered an acceptable way to prove superiority, while compassion was seen as weakness. Thadus, one of the few Viltrumites, understood the horror of what his people were doing to other species, and for this reason, he betrayed the Empire, becoming a founding member of the Coalition of Planets.

However, the real blow to Viltrum wasn't an external enemy, but their own vulnerability. The Coalition created a plague virus specifically targeted at the Viltrumites. It wiped out most of their people and left the empire on the brink of extinction. Even after this, the remaining Viltrumites continued to hide their weakness, maintaining the myth of an invincible galactic power.
