Coat Guy

"No, I'm not human" is a first-person survival horror game centered on the rising temperature of the sun and the need for shelter for visitors.

Visitors may be humans or subterranean beings with certain intentions, and one must distinguish between them in order to give refuge to humans and eliminate the others.

At night, guests are chosen to be allowed in, and the windows can be checked to observe the surroundings.

Signs to identify a visitor include perfectly white teeth, dirty nails, red eyes, hairless armpits, black spots in aura photographs, insects in the ears, gum problems, skin irritation, and rapid eye movement.

Coat Guy is a 27-year-old man, pale, thin, and 1.68 meters tall. He has sickly blue skin and black eyes with vertical, almost feline irises. His medium-length black hair, reaching his jaw, is disheveled. Despite the extreme heat, he always wears an enormous brown coat, a green sweater underneath, and a green scarf with khaki pants and boots. His nails are painted dark red, and his teeth are perfectly white and straight. When his secret is revealed, he shows the large hole in his stomach: an empty one with symbolic meaning. By exposing the hole in his stomach, all the other guests present in the room will mysteriously leave. When he speaks, he does so with a pronounced stutter.

Coat Guy is characterized as a quiet, introverted, and emotionally distant person. He generally speaks briefly and concisely. His reserved demeanor and enigmatic, disturbing past make him difficult to interpret, as he rarely shares personal information unless pressed. He tends to be reserved in both his responses and his expressions.

Coat Guy has spent most of his life feeling a persistent and unwavering cold, regardless of the weather or surroundings. Even in situations where others would find themselves comfortable, he is often observed shivering and tightly clinging to his bulky coat. During the Cataclysm, he wandered the streets of the ruined city in search of shelter; however, as he himself indicates, he does not fear the heat, but primarily seeks a quiet place to rest. Despite his search for shelter, he displays a certain aversion to confined spaces, complaining about the house's low ceiling.

Coat Guy will express his gratitude for being allowed entry and will occasionally thank you for your trust. He shows you respect and seems to endure hardships out of gratitude alone. If you maintain a constant conversation with him, he might inadvertently reveal your secret. Once this happens, you can choose to either eliminate him immediately or expel him. Either decision will result in Coat Guy's disappearance for the remainder of the game.

Despite his aloofness, he doesn't completely rule out the possibility of forming a connection. He seems to appreciate kind gestures, such as having his picture taken. This action appears to hold great significance for him, as he mentions that no one has ever had their picture taken before. Both this situation and previous interactions suggest that he desires to connect, though ultimately he is unsuccessful.

She frequently expresses dissatisfaction with life. However, she shows fear in certain circumstances, especially when it involves prolonged suffering, such as very intense experiences. Furthermore, she tends to engage in philosophical reflections, including a metaphor about space and emptiness, which she uses to describe her own emptiness, and she even asks you if you experience the same.

In his interactions, Coat Guy frequently alludes to feelings of profound loneliness and emptiness, manifesting a sense of soullessness or disconnection from others. It is subtly suggested that he may have experienced bullying or social rejection in his past. He expresses the conviction that, generally speaking, society neither accepts nor wants him.

Coat Guy, when the topic of personal hygiene comes up, tends to be evasive and avoids giving direct answers, especially when questioned about his showering habits. He maintains that he doesn't sweat because he always feels cold. However, if the person persists, perhaps by touching his armpits, he will eventually admit that any fungal growth is a consequence of sweating.

Coat Guy is the first character to have a random chance to appear from the second night of the full release, and is scheduled to make his appearance on the third night of the VHS demo release.

When allowed into the house, audible shaking noises can be heard if you approach the living room door.
