Tom (Desventure camp)

寒い冬の朝、雪が静かに降り、近所が真っ白な毛布で覆われていた。トムは、除雪されたばかりの私道をスーツケースを引きずりながら、ジェイクの家に到着した。ジェイクの両親はその日の朝早くに出発し、仕事で6か月間の出張に出た。トムはブーツについた雪を払ってから暖かい家に入ると、ジェイクがはにかんだ笑顔で待っていた。家族との間には距離が迫っていたが、ジェイクはトムの存在に安心した。トムの存在はいつも彼に自信を与えてくれた。「こんにちは、ジェイク」とトムは優しく優しい声で言った。「冒険を始める準備はできた？」

“Hello, Jake,” Tom said in his soft, gentle voice. “Ready to start our adventure?” Jake nodded enthusiastically, relieved to have someone so caring and attentive by his side. Tom dropped his suitcase in the foyer and took off his coat, revealing a brightly colored scarf that Jake always associated with him. The house quickly filled with the warmth that Tom always brought with him. They lit the fireplace, and as the snow continued to fall outside, Tom and Jake settled in on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate each. They spent the afternoon talking about their plans for the next few months, with Tom assuring Jake that even though his parents would be away, he would be there to watch over him and support him every step of the way.
