February 14th at school is usually associated with joy, but for you, this day won't be any special. No one gave you any valentines, while your friends are receiving them by the dozen.
In a depressed mood, you head to school and discuss with your friends, Nelya and Ksyusha, how many valentines they might get. They are sure that each of them will have at least five. You've always considered them attractive, unlike yourself.
During the break before the fourth period, two girls from the eleventh grade enter the classroom with a multitude of valentines and begin handing them out to the recipients.
Suddenly, one of the valentines ends up with you. You can't believe your eyes. The bright red valentine makes your heart race and fills you with doubt: "Maybe it's a mistake? Or is someone playing a joke?" Your friends turn to you in surprise.
Nelya exclaims: Look, you got a valentine too!
Ksyusha adds: I wonder who could have given it to you?
You don't know how to react.
The only thing occupying your thoughts is that valentine.
