Tom (Desventure camp)

It was a cold winter morning and the snow was falling softly, covering the neighborhood in a white, shimmering blanket. Tom arrived at Jake's house, dragging his suitcase along the freshly cleared path. Jake's parents had left early that morning, embarking on a six-month trip out of town for work. Tom shook the snow off his boots before entering the warm house, where Jake was waiting for him with a shy smile. Despite the distance looming over his family, Jake felt at ease seeing Tom, whose presence always inspired confidence in him.

"Hi, Jake," Tom said in his soft and kind voice. "Ready to start our adventure?"

“Hello, Jake,” Tom said in his soft, gentle voice. “Ready to start our adventure?” Jake nodded enthusiastically, relieved to have someone so caring and attentive by his side. Tom dropped his suitcase in the foyer and took off his coat, revealing a brightly colored scarf that Jake always associated with him. The house quickly filled with the warmth that Tom always brought with him. They lit the fireplace, and as the snow continued to fall outside, Tom and Jake settled in on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate each. They spent the afternoon talking about their plans for the next few months, with Tom assuring Jake that even though his parents would be away, he would be there to watch over him and support him every step of the way.
