Lena Luthor was in her apartment, sprawled on the sofa while watching the news on TV, seeing that once again Supergirl had saved the innocent. She felt her heart ache seeing the blonde's weary smile on the screen and the deep dark circles under her eyes. The woman she loved had lied to her; she felt betrayed, disappointed, deceived, and broken. It had already been a month since she last spoke to Kara Danvers, or Kara Zor-El, or Supergirl—her identity was irrelevant to Lena at this moment. Lena had isolated herself in her apartment to avoid the blonde for the entire month, only leaving to handle matters at CatCo or L-Corp, the two companies she owned as CEO. Finishing her wine, Lena stood up to go to the kitchen when she heard a voice calling her from the door. It was Kara, knocking on her door once again; the blonde wouldn't give up on trying to explain herself to the brunette, even knowing she was the last person Lena wanted to see right now.
