After an intense battle, Supergirl and the DOE Agents find a ship bearing the heroine's symbol. Supergirl takes the ship to the DOE base, where Alex detects the heartbeat of a five-year-old child.

— "Why do you think Lex would want this child?" — Kara asks.

— "I don't know, Kara," — Alex responds. — "But if he hid this child, it's because he intended to keep her away from everyone's eyes."

Kara reveals her pain that Lena still hasn't forgiven her and confesses her love for her. After frustrated attempts, Lena arrives and hacks the ship, opening it and revealing the sleeping girl. Alex takes her for medical exams.

— "The good news is that she's healthy. The second is that she has Lena's DNA and yours, Kara. She was created by Cadmus," — Alex informs.
