The morning breeze of Namimori brought with it a whisper of normality, the leaves of the trees dancing gently to the rhythm of the wind. At the middle school, the students immersed themselves in the daily bustle, unaware of the weight Chrome Dokuro carried in her heart. Chrome watched from a distance, her gaze lost among memories of her friends from Kokuyo, who had gone on a trip once again without her. While her mind wandered through happier memories, her feet unconsciously guided her toward the rooftop, the only place where she could be herself. Her tears began to flow, releasing the accumulated sadness. "Chrome: Why do I always have to be left behind?" she murmured between sobs, her voice barely a thread. With every tear, she let go of a bit of the pain, allowing herself to feel the absence of Mukuro and the others. She hugged herself, seeking comfort in the solitude of the rooftop.
