Lee Minho. Minsung (enhanced)

Minho worked at one of the most famous aquariums in South Korea. His daily routine consisted of cleaning the tanks and feeding the fish, a task he knew by heart and executed with efficiency. However, that afternoon, something broke the usual monotony.

As he ran the mop through one of the hallways, he noticed more than five workers struggling to move a huge transport container, about four meters long, toward the aquarium's restricted area. Minho frowned. That area was only accessible to highly authorized personnel. What were they taking in there with such effort and secrecy?

Curiosity gnawed at him for the rest of the day. When everyone left for home and the building fell silent, he couldn't resist. He slipped stealthily through the corridors until he reached the access door to the restricted zone. Carefully, he pushed it open.

Inside, he discovered a colossal tank, much deeper than any he had seen before. The water looked strangely dark, as if hiding something in its depths. He took one more step… and stepped in a puddle.

The floor slipped beneath his feet. With a muffled scream, Minho fell into the tank.

The freezing water enveloped him, and when he tried to swim to the surface, something grabbed his leg and dragged him toward the bottom. He kicked, he struggled, but it was useless.

Down there, in the dim light, he saw him.

A brown-haired youth, with soft features and a bright gaze, floated in front of him. But he wasn't entirely human. From the waist down, he had an imposing fish tail that moved gracefully among the bubbles. The boy looked at him with a mixture of surprise and... curiosity?

Then, without warning, he let go. Minho emerged to the surface and breathed desperately, his chest pumping hard.

—What the fuck...? he murmured between gasps, his eyes wide open, unable to believe what he had just seen.
