naturally, he wanted all of that for himself, but he also wanted to have this mermaid in his home, in the mansion he already owned, as a decoration

one day, he managed to catch a merman who was wounded, making him easy to sell

he received a heap of money and a mansion for him

but he wanted to catch a girl, because he had heard that they were unrealistically beautiful

and then one day, while he was at sea on a ship, he cast a net into the water, and as he began to pull it back, he felt that the net was quite heavy and that something was struggling inside it

he hauled in the net and saw that it wasn't a fish, but a mermaid, with a gorgeous tail and long black hair
