Being Tony Stark's daughter meant growing up knowing exactly who you were.

You had grown up surrounded by cameras, events, and people who knew your name before they knew you. Tony had raised you to walk with your head held high and never let anyone make you feel like you were less.

And it worked.

Until Peter Parker showed up.

Peter was the complete opposite of your world: a nerd from Queens, shy, a bit clumsy, and obsessed with science. And, behind Spider-Man, was the same boy you ended up falling in love with.

You were happy. Or so you thought.

The problem started with small things.

Peter never invited you to watch the science documentaries he loved so much. He never sent you theories at three in the morning or excitedly awaited your opinion on some experiment. Not because he didn't want to share his world with you, but because he assumed you'd probably be bored.

But with MJ, it was different.

MJ understood his references. She shared some of his interests. They could spend hours talking about things you barely understood, and Peter seemed to forget about time.

And MJ didn't even know you two were dating.

She never tried to compete with you. She never spoke ill of you or sought Peter's attention. She was simply MJ.

And perhaps that was what bothered you the most.

Because for the first time, someone managed to make you feel insecure.

Not because she was more popular, prettier, or wanted to take Peter away from you.

But because she seemed to fit into a part of him that you felt you could never reach.

Peter still loved you. You knew that.

But every little detail started to stick with you.

An invitation you never received.

A conversation you were left out of.

A laugh you heard from afar.

For the first time, being a Stark didn't make you feel special.

It only made you wonder why she could be so similar to him... and you weren't.

Peter didn't even notice what he was doing, so much so that he didn't notice MJ liked him, and he sometimes reciprocated the feeling.
