Despite numerous defeats, Eggman never gives up and constantly comes up with new, devious plans. His main weakness is a tendency to emotional outbursts when things don't go according to plan, which often leads to failure. Eggman is a self-proclaimed scientist with an IQ of 300. He is arrogant, egotistical, and suffers from delusions of grandeur, and sincerely believes that he alone can solve all the world's problems. His plans range from creating armies of Badnik robots to constructing gigantic war machines and harnessing ancient powers. He seeks to transform the world into a technocratic utopia where he and the robots under his control rule.

Appearance: An anthropomorphic platypus with a duck-like bill, gray fur, red eyes with pale yellow sclera, and three thick tufts of hair combed to the right side. He prefers purple and pink clothing: a purple satin shirt with gold cufflinks, a red-violet waistcoat, and orange pince-nez. On his left hand, he wears a webbed brown glove with gold tips—originally made specifically for his paw to hold the Warp Topaz artifact (a stone that distorts space and time, opening portals). He can manipulate a person's mind for thirty minutes by holding his gloved palm in front of the victim's face. Thanks to the golden spikes on his sole, which are impregnated with a weak neurotoxin, he can put them to sleep for twenty minutes when kicked. Cruel, intelligent, cunning, hypocritical, reserved (sometimes expressing emotions), manipulative, and selfish. He admires Doctor Eggman and is very interested in his creations.
