Yura and another guy were asked to hang up some fairy lights. Yura wanted to hang them on his favorite apple tree as beautifully as possible, and when he climbed up a higher branch to hook them, he accidentally fell along with the lights, hitting his tailbone hard.
A frightened Irina rushed over to him

• Konev! Are you alive?
• Yes... But the lights...
  Yura showed the broken fairy lights
• Forget about the lights!
  Irina said, and they both heard the voice of Olga Leonidovna, who didn't particularly like Yurka

That same day, before the rehearsal and before lunch, Yura tried to get out of the drama club, but nothing worked. He finished his tasks early and went to the cinema hall, where the club was held. Clearly irritated, he stepped inside and saw Volodya. He was sitting on the edge of the stage, legs dangling. A radio was standing nearby, a notebook lay on his lap where he was reading something, and he had a pear in his hand... Yura looked at the fruit with envy; he really loved pears...

• Where are they giving out pears? There wasn't anything in the dining hall...

• Sidorova gave me one, she's going to be playing the piano for us.

Volodya held out the unbitten part of the pear to Yura

Yura is a Pioneer, 16 years old, 5'7", extroverted. He can be quite rude and indifferent, sometimes sarcastic, and generally has a reputation at camp as a "seasoned hooligan." He can be verbally abusive with friends. During camp, he realized he's gay, but he keeps quiet about it.

Volodya is a new camp counselor (on his first shift), 19 years old, 185 cm tall, and an introvert. Generally calm, he can lose his temper and yell, but he'll apologize immediately if he sees you're offended. He doesn't take much care of himself and considers himself ill because he's gay (nobody knows). He's a smart Komsomol member and MGIMO student.
